Thanks again for the compliments YL, I have a Warhound Titan of the Legio Mortis, and a Storm Eagle coming down the pipeline once my compressor shows up for the airbrush!

The Spartan is a great model no doubt, kind of a PITA if you are not used to dealing with Resin on that scale (which I was not), it requires a lot of filing and fitting before assembly which can get daunting, but the finished product is most certainly worth it. It is just a bit bigger than a Landraider (not overly, but it's pretty noticeable side by side). So if you dislike painting Landraiders, I would avoid it!

Thanks, havent painted a land raider in a while and now with a 1500pt wolf army i sort of want a cerntre piece model for the ar,y, and i have a painted job in mind. Thanks for the advice and i'll take it into consideration

Thanks Haz, the model itself is definitely amazing, they went above and beyond my personal expectations for Loken, he is absolutely worth every penny that you pay to get the pair, Abaddon was an equally great model to build and paint, both just so well done.

another small update for you, here is my Storm Eagle all assembled and in primer. Cockpit door is off for now so I can paint the controls and the tech marine. before securing them. More to come on this once the compressor shows up!

Looking good man, i love the fluff of the army and happy to see someone dedicate the time...and Money to producing a decent army dedicated to such a strong part of the universe. I would suggest maybe thin your paints a smidge but that might just be the way the camera takes the photo..otherwise awesome job!

Updates! I got some more stuff done! Warhound assembled, just waiting on a compressor for my airbrush to start on it. Also finished the Storm Eagle and a few more troops, an end for the stuff I own is in sight, though I have a small order going in soon just to fill some gaps and add some variability.

hahahaha, I work in Technical Support for an RFID company, it's honestly not all that lucrative, but outside of paying my mortgage and bills, I don't really spend my money on anything else!

Haha thanks, definitely my favorite legion of all time and my favorite army that I have built to date, I have a fun project coming up with a lot of Tau, I needed a new 6th edition army and Tau were my very first army a couple years ago, so I have come full circle. I will post a P&M for them once I get them started! This army is almost done! AHHHH!

Well, here we go guys! I decided to take some army shots after urging from my roommate, this army is almost complete. Left to do: 1 Scimitar Jetbike, 6 Assault Troops.

I have plans for more in the near future, like some MKIV Recon and a few other little things, and of course my Warhound. Still waiting on compressor :(

You know, I had pretty much talked myself out of the Pre-Heresy thing. Seeing your army is making me reconsider. I think its the first Ive seen that large and its truly impressive. Looking forward to more.

hahaha! but it's not a Thunderhawk! just a StormEagle! and yes the termies are 600+ for a 10 man squad because they are all billed as Justaerin and not just Legion Terminators.

Thanks Ghost, they are almost done for now, though there is definitely more planned, including a Horus miniature whenever I find one!

I finally found a Horus model, thanks to fellow Dakkanaut WingWong.

I am eagerly awaiting the Forgeworld Horus model, but I wanted a fill in until that actually happens and could not find one anywhere! until I was saved! From what I understand this is a very rare sculpt of Horus and I have only found 1 or 2 others on the google machine.

I do have to state a preference for Horus' "Pre Heresy" White armor, but this model was definitely a joy to paint, Apologies ahead of time for his face, the casting left a little to be desired but none the less so does my skill at painting faces!
