Impressive little group you have there. Great kitbashing and atmosphere you've created.

Great mashing-up of components there, and very nice use for the new Painboy arm. The vampire conversion also looks suitably creepy. Did a perfect job capturing those strong Blanche vibes!

Great to see your blog here! Have been enjoying your work for a while and the general trend of amazingly characterful and beautiful work coming out from Finland between the Rats, you and a few others

Seasons greetings Dakka!

Last months have been a total mess with school and work, and finally I found time to stop and relax with hobby.
I got a nasty stomach ulcer during christmas and was forced to stay at home in bed... When the worst was over I had jolly time chopping up some miniatures I found from my storage. So, here's few pictures of my growing Nurgle team!

And check out the rest of the material from my zombified blog: CODFISH PARINGS

Cheers all

Got the thugs primed. Here's a small picture report of the past hour... (Here you can see how I usually work with miniatures, and which I find the easiest to do).

Plain white.

Added a light splash of brown and orange ink over the armor.

More color...

Sepia ink over the armor to bring some more shade.

Sponged the armor with bleached bone and white to add some highlight/damage.

Tamiya clear yellow painted over the armor parts. Added some red shadings to the pink parts.

STAY TUNED for part two!

prt 2. This almost in real time!

Metals in. I used Leadbelcher diluted with brown ink.

Shade - I used the leftovers I had on my palette at the moment; mainly brown inks and black paint for the metals. Skin got a wash of purple and brown ink. Armor got a wash/splashes or 5 with orange/red ink... I also inked the base with brown/green ink.

Highlights. Metals got some silver highlights, skin was splatted with white, and banner got a rough but jolly skull.

At this point we need to move to make the details. Stay tuned for part 3!

Freakin' freaky stuff! Love the feel of the conversions. These projects bristle with grotesque ideas.

And the step-by-step tutorial is most welcome! Thanks for posting.

Cool stuff! I must try the white-then-washes method some time.
