Was planning to get a barbed hierodule or the forgeworld Bloodthirster before the new book. So plans may change.

I have a baneblade and a stormlord built and another shadowsword/stormlord kit still on the sprue. The plan is to get another stormlord to make a full superheavy stormlord company complete with the full compliment of passengers. Just for the craic!

I'll probably stop after that, unless a stormhammer ever gets its own model and then i'll be all over that!

When I have the money, I plan to add another shadowsword, a second Warhound, a second stompa, a Fellblade, and when it comes out, a Warlord.

I can say now that I've added an Imperial Malcador to my list of superheavies, for my Regimental Lord Commissar and her personal use.

Have: none, I don't like painting very large models and I'm not overly fond of the FW designs.

Want: a plastic Thunderhawk would tempt me. If it remains resin and should Escalation become widespread, I'll probably convert a Stormraven for game purposes.

Good luck with that. I'm working on a Thunderhawk now, and they're so much ridiculously bigger than stormravens, it would look very silly.

I own a Stompa and a Kill Bursta. I don't plan on buying any more, but I have several models in various stages of being built, such as a Warhound, a Hellbadger converted to a Thunderhawk, a half-done Skullhamma, and a giant Ork.... thing.

I don't intend to buy any although my nephew has wanted a Baneblade for a really long time.

Want: Thunderhawk, either that or a Fellblade and 2 Contemptors

Have: Baneblade, Shadowsword, Warhound (Inferno Cannon and Plasma Blastgun) and Reaver (2x Laser Blasters and Vortex Missile)

Plan on getting: ...probably another Warhound in the distant future.

I'd like something for my Marines, and maybe a Harridan for my Nid's. Althoug that would be more for decoration then game play.

I's been a while sins we last played Apocalypse, but mostly we field something like 1 superheavy per 2000 points.
In regular size games (1500/2000) we rarely use them. When that happens it's playtesting mostly.....

I don't currently own any. But depending on the amount of christmas money I may invest in the Necron Superheavy. I dont really have any else needing purchased for my 40k projects right now ... so why not ... plus my local store is a GW store so i am pretty sure itll get used.

What are your suggestions on how to take out other SH and GCs because like you essentially said, Tau don't have any SH that are actually worthwhile to play.

Wait a few days for Forge World to release their PDF? It's near as makes no difference confirmed that all or most fw super-heavies will be getting converted to lords of war - we're just waiting for them to release the document.

Is there an estimated time of arrival on the doc?

I probably own a half a dozen superheavies and a few titans.

What i have

2x baneblades
2x shadowsword i think that is what you call the titan killers
2x warhound titans
thats what i will have for escalation

but later next year a reaver titan and a couple different pre heresy super heavies for the collection

Have: 2 leviathan crusaders (not count as Warhounds but with their own datasheet), baneblade, shadowsword and 2 eldar revenant titans.

Want: some superheavy grav tanks for eldar instead of the titans and I would like a few macharius' tanks, both the standard one aswell as the vanquisher. Those just look so damn great. Just so damn expensive nowadays so that will probably stay wishlisting.

For orks,

I have four painted stompas, one with the big belly gun, two relatively stock ones, one with the tractor beam arm thing.
A painted gargantuan squiggoth and two giant squiggoths.
A partially converted baneblade, it will be a skullhammer, I guess at some point.

For Tyranids,
I have a couple of Hierodules (they're unassembled at the moment). My Tyranids army is pretty small at this point, but should grow next year, once the new codex arrives.

For Space Marines,
I would like to get a Thunderhawk or two (one regular and one of the vehicle transport ones) for my Crimson Fists at some point, but I'm not in any rush, still have some Stormravens and Stormtalons to paint up first.

Note none of this has anything to do with escalation. I have the stompas for when I did a few apoc games when it came over several years ago. The rest are really just to expand my armies, I rarely game, apoc or otherwise these days.

I don't currently have any, and I'm not too fond of the idea of using them in regular games. Especially ones with D weapons. Even just for modeling purposes I reckon I could buy a Baneblade kit at some point - I'm not really even sure what variant is what, but some of them look quite nice.

Another is the Stompa. But there's a problem with that, so to speak. It seems the GW Stompa has a set configuration. And I don't really like the GW Stompa's head. The FW Stompa however is basically twice the price and doesn't seem to have the correct weapon options available, which sucks. And while the FW Stompa's head is available separately, can you fit that on the GW Stompa? The lower body seems to be the same between the two, but I dunno about the head mount area. Now, if I only get it for the modeling aspect I suppose it doesn't matter, but it does if I end up playing with it, whether in Apoc (well, there I could use the FW rules, but even then the shooty weapon options don't seem to be available to buy anymore) or with Escalation. For that matter the FW CC arm and the shoulder plates look much nicer than the GW ones, too. So I dunno what to do

What do you guys think about the Tiger Shark AX10? I don't have any Super Heavies currently but I am debating on weather or not to get one. From what I have heard, it is really a Titan killer. What do you think?
