I would sign this if you were actually pointint at meaningless stuff. Theres a TON of self rigtheous white knighting crusaders on Youtube, who will take everything out of context to scream at transphobia, homophobia, sexism, racism etc. I mean, yes those are bad things, and hooray that you think they are bad, but try to actually add something valuable. Not just:

"Racism/Sexism/Transphobia/etc is totally bad and you should not do it, mkay."

But you have to mention that theres also a lot of great stuff on YT about the matter, people tackling more complex matters than the usual stuff, promoting discussion and trying to improve communities etc. I think it would be really mean to just stamp those people as "haters". I do understand your feelings on "leaving it be" tough, some of these discussions drift down to hate speech a lot of times and more often than not you are branded as something you're not. I myself try to keep clear of discussions like that, safe maybe a comment "Yeah, its bad." and then leaving the Thread/Discussion. I was dragged down to meaningless namecalling and those stupid social justice crusades one too many times to actually invest time into it anymore.

OT:

I was actually wondering about the whole Totalbiscuit thing. Appearantly hes now popular enough to be quoted when you buy stuff on Steam. Im actually kinda surprised, judging by some of his videos i watched to get an impression he doesnt seem...special at all. neither really bad nor really good, rather generic tbh. Does anyone have a few decent examples of him acting up or something? Im actually really puzzled why he has a following large enough to qualify him for Box-Blurb.

I want to clarify, i COULD absolutely ignore the dude, and maybe the comments too, but Pewdies Fanboys do reach way further than just YT. Like I mentioned, you can barely mention that you dislike Pewdie on some boards, without hordes of people descending upon your ass to flame the very living Thor out of you. I mean, I get that there are some actual haters on Youtube, who just bash the dude for giggles (Just search "Pewdiepie sucks" and you get some prime examples for Trollbait), but there are some actual nice critiques out there, or some complaints about the jokes he does, and his response most of the time comes down to "Lol, your views give me moneyz" or a general "I dont give a feth" attitude. Its just a combination of these things that make me dislike the dude majorly.

Minus their impact upon things like being able to vote in government representatives who believe in their own agendas, I suppose you're right. Dark are days when "Satan created dinosaur fossils to fool scientists and you're under his spell if you think anything else" is being taught with the same level of significance (or more) as "well, we don't really know what happened, but here's the leading theory."

Youtubers I hate... Well Team Crafted has turned sellout... Pewds is the most UNfunny/annoying/crude/git...
Raywilliamjohnson is annoying... so is Smosh... The only super (10,000,000 or more sub) is NigaHiga I like a lot of others, Jordan Maron (Cpt Sparklez) is my personal favorite. and I don't thin that TotalBiscit is 'Fake British' he was born a brit and raised a brit. Just 'cause he lives in the US of A does NOT mean he's American

Actually, he was moved around, a lot, his fathers a priest or something like that so they had to keep moving which is why his accent is a mismatch of stuff.

As for TB... He has a very similar accent to my dad, who was born and raised in Sheffield, but through coaching he learnt a relatively neutral accent so it's quite clear to me that TB puts on his accent.

Not for the area I'm in. xD I sound like I should come from somewhere like Alderly Edge or somewhere a bit posher than Stockport.
