Insanely jealous of you all !

We expect full reports.

And many, many pictures.

let us know if it's any good

The poor man really has a stake in the country. The rich man hasn't; he can go away to New Guinea in a yacht. The poor have sometimes objected to being governed badly; the rich have always objected to being governed at all
We love our superheroes because they refuse to give up on us. We can analyze them out of existence, kill them, ban them, mock them, and still they return, patiently reminding us of who we are and what we wish we could be.

Same here. On the whole, it's for the best that my group bailed this year as I've got some bills to pay and a wedding to attend in a couple weeks, but I'd much rather spend the weekend doing something fun.

Working on someting you'll either love or hate. Hopefully to be revealed by November.
Play the games that make you happy.

Hey!

If any one is interested in Endless Fantasy Tactics I'm getting set up on the second floor by the speed painting (take a left if you're coming from the mall). I've got one board at the moment, but I can easily set up some quick and dirty boards.

Starts at 8!

Also I saw Kronk he walked by me while I waited in the FFG line.

Also got a demo for a pretty cool game by Cincydooley.

Also, of anyone is doing the FFG convention line game, let me know I want to beat it and get my VIP card.

So, how was everyone's GenCon? Anyone get some "phat lewts"?

I met Cincydooley who demoed Darklands for me and my friend.

I got drunk with Heath Foley (artist for Mantic, On the Lamb, and a few other companies) and two guys from Warlord Games' US office while we played Cards Against Humanity and we now know who the worst of us is now.

Demoed a few games, played in the Iron Arena on Saturday, Demoed Endless Fantasy Tactics for a store owner and finally got to try World of Darkness

Also I'm super excited to try this RPG I found on Sunday called Shadows of Esteren.

Hope you all had a great GenCon!

No, just a ballcap and a regular t-shirt. I wasn't cosplaying at all. I got quite a few strange looks, and overheard some funny comments. I think next year I may wear a pair every day.

I had a great time! My massive haul is documented on my thread http://www.dakkadakka.com/dakkaforum/posts/list/500202.page
I went balls out on MERCS, and got started on WWX, and we played an 7+ hour APoc game saturday.

I bought a bunch of gak. Favorite game I picked up was the Lord of the Rings deck building card game (from Cryptozoic) that plays similar to Dominion, but not exactly.

I ended up grabbing the Inifinity starter bundle and several Nomad miniatures; two expansions to Smash Up; two starters, promo mini, several more miniatures, and several books for Dark Age; the Anphelion Projectbook; signed art prints; signed posters; Dark Sword miniatures; a Raw Deal deck(this game is super fun btw- wrassling TCG); Princess Mononoke shirt from TeeTurtle; Secret Weapon bases; some Japanese battle books; and some leftovers from a Conspiracy draft. I think that's about it, but I may have forgotten one or two things.

I'd post what I got but it doesn't seem right to since I paid for very little of it. Cool to see the sweet hauls everyone else brought in, tho.
