Absolutely beautiful.

I would love to see (and buy) a multipose set of these for building a whole unit.

thanks! I hope to find some time soon to update the unit. Right now we are almost done with our biggest project: our first son Gino will be "out" in some hours ! (not sure how to explain it in english!)

We are currently in the sculpting phase, resin-metal production will follow.

What are you printing him with, again (Printer, resolution)???

Also, roughly what is the printing costing, if that is acceptable to ask?

Right now, I'm not sure about that, there are a lot of options but right now I should wait a bit and evaluate everything.

Hello there! We finally started to sculpt during the weekend, so our project is going to be updated every week!
This time we sculpted the heavy dwarves, they will be 5 28-30mm models full swappable,
We are still organizing for production, but we will keep you updated.

Finally the first Dwarf Warrior (of 5) sculpt is finished, even if we have not found a way to product these guys, we are still expanding our range of models. Once we are ready, we will surely have the basical troopers for three armies: dwarves, and orcs and barbarians (womans barbarians actually!).

These are awesome. Hoping you can find an economical way to get them casted. I'd be down for a few batches. They have so much individual character.

Also: axe-guns.

Fantastic! There's no way I can buy these at the shapeway price but if you get them cast.. wow.. yeah, I'll be on top of that.

Aside from the dwarves, I like the Gargoyles too. Is there any possible chance you could do a unit of those that is more batlike (bat faces and fur instead of stone)? Anyway, thanks for sharing, very very cool!

Yes, after the dwarves, orcs and (girls)barbarians, I would have a chance to do that, as it would be a simple modification.

Now, I have just realized that the first dwarf is left-handed, wich is not a problem, but it will when all 5 of them will be out: they need to be swappable as they cam with separated arms, legs, head etc.
I have corrected the sculpt and also the image, plus, there's a new guy here. Note that they are "normal" infantry, not heroes or commanders.
Cheers!

EDIT: I noticed that the helmet used in the sculpt was the older version, so it has been updated (still it's a different helmet from dwarf warrior 1).

Hello!
Here the sketch for the upcoming Delelok Skjaldmær units, they will be 5 swappable models with balljoints.
In RotVar! universe, Deleloks is a race of man, and as all the others man races they cames from the ancent dwarves. The Deleloks are the human population that resemble more the dwarves, and they are closely related to the real vikings.
Sorry for my English, it's not my language
Francesca, my wife, wil take care about the Skjaldmær units during some weekends, even if now with our son ( he have 1 month and half!) it's pretty hard to find time to sculpt

So here there's a test using the same model (Dwarf Warrior 2) but assembling it differently. This can achieved by you too, once this model will be casted and producted.
As I wrote, you will really have 100% freedom assembling this, mixing the warriors with the rangers (and with the next coming dwarves). The Giant Woar (wolf-board) raider will also be swappable with these pieces, so you can place your mixed dwarf over it.

For the next armies, such Delelok (barbarians, with many girls there like the shieldmaidens), Orcs, Duum-Lok (deepth-flame dwarves) it will be the same.

(about the alternate gargoyles/bat-people) Fantastic! I was hoping it would be easy since they are very bat-like already. I have subscribed to this thread and will keep my eyes open.

Artistically, I can't think of any dwarves I've seen that I liked better. GW and AoW have some nice ones but yours feel stout without being fat or overly stocky and the design of the armor has a lot of great detail for rank and file troops. Great work!

Hi!
Here the Captain of the Dwarven Warriors, the Captain. As any other Captain, he will have the option to be a normal infantry, so he comes with a normal shield. Every Dwarf Warrior will come with the Axe option too, if you want to have some mixed units or you don't like hammers.

I noticed that the whole topic is a bit confusing as before this started like a Shapeways project, and now we just would like to cast and produce (normally) these miniatures in resin, plastic or metal. Right now we are still planning everything and sculpt the models before actually launch the project, but the feedbacks from the community would be great in this "sculpting-phase".
I will probably end up with a completely new topic if possible, sorry for the confusion about this one

Feell free to start a new topic when you're ready!

Just PM a Mod at that time and we'll take care of the particulars, if you like/need!
