He also commanded the largest fleet ever assembled at that time made to found new septs. I'm sure they've built new ship construction facilities in the centuries since. Heck, they evacuated a whole planet when the nids attacked. They have the capability to deepstrike whatever they feel like.

Space Marine flyers are shaped for the greatest possible air resistance so that the air may never defeat the SPACE MARINES!
Sternguard though, those guys are all about kicking ass. They'd chew bubble gum as well, but bubble gum is heretical. Only tau chew gum

Ehhh. It could be any number of things, the older suits that Farsight Enclaves have might not be able to be used for these kinds of drops or something like that.
Plus it could just be that they did not want Farsight to be able to be in a formation that can automatically arrive at the start of your second turn.

Thanks! I'm keeping him on my nightstand until I can get a proper Farsight model instead of Ghetto Farsight (look at the plasma rifle ).
I absolutely love the new Crisis suits. The jetpack is ten times better, and the posing is just so good. More Crisis to come!

That Ghostkeel looks pretty good, if a little too dirty for my tastes. Was it hard to paint? I ask because I may be getting three of these over the next month or two.
My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700
Check out my P&M Blogs: ZergSmasher's P&M Blog | Imperial Knights blog | Board Games blog | Total models painted in 2024: 40 | Total models painted in 2025: 21 | Current main painting project: Warhammer 40k Leviathan set

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.

Landing in mud after jetpacking, hit by mud propelled by artillery shells, splattered by the splashes of mud from other Battlesuits landing. Most of the mud is on the lower half of the body underneath the plates.
On both the Crisis suit I weathered and this one, the weathering is mostly concentrated near the feet/legs and bottom of the jetpack.

By that I mean the only weathering I have done is the feet. I'm currently working on the stabilizers. I should get the graphite weathering right by tomorrow morning.
EDIT: Just did some experimenting. Am I doing it right?
