Quite like this one, except the chip part - just didn't look right to me, but maybe it's just the size. The scratches look great the way she describes/does it tho.
Yeah I am sure she is a sweetheart but I am glad I am not the only one who can't see anything but her hand gesture during her vids. It's a lot more distracting that I thought when I first saw it. Her paint skills are not in question and I understand these are instructional and need to be short and to the point. I just wish she did not parrot what Duncan says, wish she had her own thing so it does not appear as if they just wanted to show diversity of the hobby or something like that. Not sure how else you say "spin your brush to get a good sharp tip on it" either though. All of these are great fun and the short time frame is great for helping people learn to do something. Really enjoy these all and all.

They're stuck between keeping a consistent and easily followed channel, getting 25 vids out in a month, and allowing people to shine. I'm sure over time it'll allow her to become herself, if indeed it's something either of them want to pursue.
Honestly I listen to the instruction and look at the mini, it could be presented by bugs bunny and I'd get the gist of it.
as long as her hand's rock steady when she paints, as it is, I really don't care about what motions she makes before hand. I think one thing that is a bit much about these is if you watch a bunch in one go - just about anything can get annoying. Like the whole spiel about getting a point on your brush. lol but I'm a bit impatient and just want them to get to the point (no pun intended).
Nice job getting all the vids together and up here AoV. Really been enjoying this advent series they've been doing. Some good stuff in here that folk of all levels can take away
Also note that they appear to have pointed the camera at Emma at a slightly different angle so you don't see her arm waggling about as much in the Kabalite video.
