I would LOVE to see a V-Wing somewhere, but it would be awkward. It has an astromech slot, but wouldn't fit with Rebels really. Imperials would mean creating an "Imperial Astromech" upgrade type or retconning some of the unique Astromechs to be Rebel only. Scum would work sort of, but I've never read or seen anything to indicate the V-Wing was sold off in any quantity. AFAIK it was just retired and never seen again not long after the rise of the Empire.

Having said that, I'd buy at least 3 regardless of how bad they were in the game. I love 'em.

I could see the pirates picking them out of the old ship yards and repurposing them.

Still, there is a lot of Niche Crunch with the V-wing, to the point that I don't think FFG will ever make it, especially for Scum. They are supposed to be fast, lightly shielded fighters, like the Scyk. They are similar (and actually slightly inferior) to a TIE-fighter in terms of Speed and Armament, so you can't really make them a superior, interceptor-style ship.

Q: What do you call a Dinosaur Handpuppet?

Given the latest episode of Rebel's maybe we might see repurposed tie fighter's by scum.

Those were Mining Guild ships.

I don't think corporate militias and security forces fit the Scum and Villiainy theme, but hey, it would be fun to see the Corporate Sector Authority on XWing somehow. Perhaps if the new EU keeps pulling that way, we may see them as a fourth (sixth?) faction.

I'm not a scum player but I wouldn't mind seeing a Huge ship go their way. Say a Interceptor Class Frigate or something like that

If I had to guess at one I'd say the Star Jewel. It's Jabba's Yacht - well armed for the size (turbolasers) and aesthetically reminiscent of the sail barge.

Functionally it falls somewhere between the Gozanti Carrier and the CR-90 Corvette.

It'd be an opportunity (as a carrier) to include an alternate Scyk and/or Z-95, putting in a Scyk 'fix' and some new headhunter pilots, plus some more unique crew for scum - ideally including a Jabba crew card.

I think they could bring them into the fold. just think that they could bring in some of the older model Droid ships from the CW. though probably slightly more upgraded or something

Regarding the Mandalorian Gauntlet fighter debate brought up by "The Protector of Concord Dawn", it looks like the folks in charge of the Databank have finally noticed the inconsistency: The Gauntlet remains the 50-mts ship seen in The Clone Wars, while the smaller ships seen in Rebels are now Fang-class fighters.
