Irrationality is (one of the) the(s) bane of humanity.

My very first minatures when I was 13ish was they kislev winged Lance's absolutely amazing looking models.

However they were an absolute pig to put together the Lance's were a pain to straighten, the wings were heavy with a tiny contact point, the arms looked crap unless perfectly aligned but the weight of the lance made that difficult and even the body halfs took a lot of work to get to fit.

They nearly broke me took me a week to build 10 and while I did get them built I was a lot more wary of what I bought from then on.

Even now with a lot more experience and knowing a lot of the tips and tricks noob me did not I still would not fancy getting the wings attached.

That's nasty Excommunicatus. Wouldn't wish that on anyone.
