This entire thread has been cringe and I'm really surprised the MODS have allowed this to continue.
The offending party did something that was grounds for termination. The company terminated them. The company put out a statement distancing their company from the individual. If the individual was closely associated with their company and brand I don't see an issue with it.
Any other speculation is in my mind disrespectful to the individual and to the company. Just let it rest.
