anybody play a true "Cadian" I.G. army?

the general response when an I.G. player wants to counter HtH is

get Roughriders. some even like Ogryn. but what does someone

who's running a true Cadian list do? the above mentioned aren't

even options. Special Weapon Squads with flamers/demo charge

combo? remnant squads with flamers? sentinels?

I generally play a very straight forward cadian list with the normal 7 doctrins.  I avoid HTH if at all possible and prefer range attacks to HTH.

Now on occasion as a last resort I have gone HTH with Tau, but most of the time I prefer the rapid fire if within 12" or to just fire if the squad moved if they are within 12".

The list I play does not allow for rattlings or Ogres, so it is regular guard troops.

My advise is to avoid HTH.
