Cultists with demons are pretty much dead. Especially one squad, not to mention the demons would be predictable, in positioning.
You have two rhinos, I'm wondering if they will be useful.. I think alot of the time they will die early.

If I dropped the cultists, what would the extra 84 points be better spent on? More raptors? More marines in the rhino squads?

I would drop a rhino squad (you really only need on anyway, trust me, more than one Rhino in any list is asking to be shoot down). I would up the Raptors to 8 and take Furies.

The problem with the cultists is they've only got one unit that is infiltrating close up with them. If those 8 man squads were infiltrating, I think the cultists would be more useful.
I think the rhino squads will do ok and unlike Mahu I think 2 are better then one. However with cheap infiltration I can't see why you'd take them. Rhinos are a nice way to deliver daemons (as you can keep them from summoning early) but I think they are only so-so in an Alpha Legion list.
Why take spiky bits over mutation on the champs?
I'd probablt drop the cultists, rhinos and take tankhunter off the las/plas. Use points to make the 8 man squads infiltrators and add an infiltrating/tank hunting havoc squad (6 man 3xML).

I don't think it would be as bad as you think, as you've got a fairly nice firebase to utilize in alpha games (especially if you add the havocs). The infiltrators will just have to foot slogg it to objectives or serve as countercharge for your shooty units. The main reason I'd drop the rhino's is that the list as is doesn't play to the Alpha Legion strengths. Sure you've minimized the glaring weakness of AL but in return have only created a weaker version of a Black Legion or Word Bearers list.

If I drop the rhinos, then I lose what little mobility my army has. I dont think that relying on foot sloggers to get to objectives is going to be that effective.

Yah, but rhinos are probably less effective than just foot slogging. They legitimize the opponents AT weapons, which otherwise didn't have nearly as good of targets with just marines to fire upon.

If I dropped both units, then I have 472 points left.
