I am trying to get my orks underway. I am having trouble painting cloth. never had to do it with Necrons or Tau. I am painting this on black primed surface. Is there a simple way to do this? Looking for a wash, a drybrush and a highlight. I want to have beige clothing for the most part. Anything Orky.

I use a variety of diff colours for my orks .
i use a base of scab red and highlight with blood red followed by a tiny bit of orange
i use snakebite followed by vomit then i use yellow for bad moons
i highlight black with codex grey
i use scorched brown followed by bestial then snakebite followed by vomit brown
(any three of the above in order will give you a decent brown)
i also use codex grey followed with spcae wolves then highlighted with white
not sure how much use this will b but i find it the best way for ork clothing

also you can highlight bestial or snakebite with vomit and the 2 shades work good enough together for brown
