Ended auction early. I will relist it on Monday. There were too many listing mistakes, etc. I kept noticing. So I will relist with the corrections. If anyone was interested, PM me if you would like to purchase before I relist. Thanks! Capt K

Wow Captain K are you OK?  Do I need to call a MEDIC.  Well yes I understand paying down the debt.

Good Luck, will be looking in on e-bay.

@Mahu: Not cold feet. I did the auction at 2:30am and missed somethings and got the pricing thing wrong. So I plan on relisting it on Monday and 9pm EST.

Thanks for the concern Warrior 50. I'm fine. It's all about easing my financial burdens. My army had a good run and it is definitely time to move on to a new IG force in the future, so I might as well cash them in for some debt relief.

CaptK one must learn that true debt can never be "payed down". You will have to, how do you say, "smoke you like chiba" at the RTT to get enough dough. Or paint more of my sista's and let me buy you the items. Then and only then can true debt be released.

Actually most of the money I earn goes towards credit card debit...heck I'm still paying on Adepticon 2006. The funny thing is that adepticon 2007 isn't far away...then there were the set of 4 new tires I needed for my MINI, then the...well you get the idea...hehe.

Yes, this game is certainly expensive and I spend a boatload of money on it every year. so I feel your pain. I used to have about 8 different armies till I came to the conclusion that I'd just stick with my eldar.....now I look at things and want to sart them again....if I do start to buy something non-eldar please stop me. New pewter is a hard habit to break (lol)

Here is the army relisted. I have opened up the bidding to people worldwide. I have also adjusted the price based on the retail + time to paint/convert. I believe that this price is closer to reasonable than previously. Here is the link for all the people that were waiting...hehehe.

I had bid before, but $600 may be too much; I'll have to check with the money controller...

As a rule of thumb, the designers do not hide "easter eggs" in the rules. If clever reading is required to unlock some sort of hidden option, then it is most likely the result of wishful thinking.

But there's no sense crying over every mistake;
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Minimum bid price at $600 is a steal. The army is insanely expensive if you were to start one now. Not to mention a forgeworld tank and unique conversions makes this army stand out. Hopefully your money controller sees the light...hehe. Capt K

hi capt k
not trying to put a dampner on this but you do realise that your bidder is no longer a registerd user!!!

he didnt by any chance bid then ask after the item had ended that you ship to a cousin, sister or other family member in africa saying he was working for BAT (british and american tabacco IIRC) or an oil in the usa/uk and wants shipping to africa (nigeria or the ivory coast possibly) even though he isnt registered as been there?

also if you still decide to go ahead with this sale - which as he is no longer a registered user you arent actually required to do - when he pays, assuming he uses paypal, log in to your paypal account direct via the www.paypal.com address do not REPEAT DO NOT use the links in his reciept/payment info to ensure that the money has gone in, as this is a known scam for getting paypal details.

i have had a number of similar "bids" from people that were in the uk/usa and wanted the items shipping to africa, then when payment "arrived" it wasnt a real paypal email (the links went off to third party sites made up to look like paypal) and the funds were not in my paypal account and within 24 hours the user was no longer registered on ebay!

please please please consider these facts and if you still feel you can go ahead good luck but dont say you werent warned!!

cheers and all the best
millest

Thanks for the heads up Millest. This guy is paying via a western union money order and I have made it clear that the item will NOT ship until the money has cleared my bank. We'll see how serious he is. If the deal falls through, I will relist it back on ebay. Thanks again for the heads up. I am remaining vigilant.

Yes the one problem I have with e-bay is the scammers and rip off artist.

Captain K hope your deal goes through as that is one very nice army and very well painted.
