If i give a unit of raptors infiltrate and then roll for a mission with escalation what would they be, infiltrators or in reserve?.

Reserves. The rules for infiltrate specifically mention that the ability does not allow units to deploy that would not be allowed to do so otherwise.

Agreed. They would be in reserve. The same thing happens to Tau Stealth Suits. Basically, in about 50% of the mission that you'll play the points will be wasted.

Heaven forbid that I agree with a squid,
But Infiltrate clearly states that it only allows models that would otherwise be deployed to set up in the special manner. It does not allow something that would not be deployed to set up. SO, not a great choice to put on Raptors.

Well this is for a night lord army that i am doing for cityfight where there is no escalation so it will be cool, just thought i would check for the standard missions cheers for the help.
