Simple question. With this trait, are you allowed to only take a Bike Squadron, or is an Attack Bike Squadron included in this?

No definitive answer one way or the other. By the rule of conservatism (taking the least-advantageous version), I'd say no Attack Bike Squadrons as Troops.

As a rule of thumb, the designers do not hide "easter eggs" in the rules. If clever reading is required to unlock some sort of hidden option, then it is most likely the result of wishful thinking.
But there's no sense crying over every mistake;
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

Well it allows you to take them as Troops or Elites. They could not be taken as troops, since they'd have to be a 5 man squad, and you're only allowed 3. So they'd then be restricted to Elite. I guess saying it that way, then it should only apply to regular bikes...

I have also heard people argue the same way allowing scout bikers to be taken as troops choices. By the exact wording of the text, however, it does only say bike squadrons, and the only unit falling under that title, specifially, would be regular bikes.
however, in a fun game, i doubt too many people would make a stink about it, it is allready a tough army to win with.

Troops have to be more than 3 models a unit? Otherwise I agree, you can take only normal bike squadrons.
