BLUE TABLE PAINTING
July 2006

Blue Table Painting prides itself on our customer service. We are here for you. We work on a schedule that is convenient for you, the customer, not on one that includes phrases like, "as soon as we can get around to your minis."  We are a full fledged business. Not an individual working out of his garage or spare bedroom.

We have one, lonely opening for the Week of August 14. We have multiple spaces available beginning August 21. You can send models today and they will get attention as soon as they come in the door.

Get the immediate attention you want at prices you can afford.

Blue Table has eight people full time on staff: five painters, one assembler, one office manager, and one client relations. Client Relations contact is Shawn-- on duty full time just to answer your calls and questions. Try me on Yahoo Messenger ID jazzmouth or phone 801 372 8545.

Armies of any size can be completed in two to four weeks. This includes ordering and assembling models if needed. If you send your own models it's done in a single week. A team of expert full-time artists work in "home makeover show" fervor on your army. Small projects welcome, too.

Would you like your favorite RPG character brought to life?

Do you want a display board done?

Need custom terrain?

Contact Shawn at jazzmouth@yahoo.com for a quote on your project.

Meet the staff and see our work at www.bluetablepainting.com!

Not sure if Blue Table is right for you? Contact us about doing a small job for you. Let us do a squad or two so you can see how good we really are.

Spreadsheets for any army in any system are available on request.

Why Blue Table is a Good Choice

Blue Table Painting is an established studio. We've been going strong for over two and a half years.

We have painted over 170 armies.

Priority Shipping in the US sees your army back to you in 2-4 days.

We have over 13,500 pics of our work on our website. All commissioned work is on our website. We are proud of our work.

Blue Table carries business insurance to protect your models while in our care.

Blue Table is an above board business, incorporated and licensed.

Blue Table has a direct phone number you can call to talk to the owner; Shawn Gately 801-372-8545.

Blue Table artists have painted over ten armies each, have 5+ years professional experience and/or have formal training in Art. Most of our Painters have completed over fifty projects.

If you want a project expanded later, models can be painted to match.

If you sell the army later, you can get the pics from us, or link to the website.

We have a solid customer service department. We follow up on our work with satisfaction inquiries, repairs (if your model is damaged during play), and will respond fully to any problems you may have.

Blue Table's packers are professionally trained, use top materials, and meet the standards set forth by UPS and USPS. And we're familiar with international shipping.

Working as a team at the studio, large projects can be finished to a high standard in a short time.

We have a physical store front in downtown Spanish Fork, Utah. Clients can come by and visit us any time!

You can see pics of the studio and meet the staff at

Blue Table does more than just do awesome paint jobs on your figures, we are a full service business!

Bluetable,

I have some harsh words for you. On bartertown, you (as in mag...mem...) frequently posts in reply to other companies ads in the "looking for painter" forum.

The main point of your posting there it seems is to emphasize the point that one should pay for a banner on the site if they wish to advertsie their services on that forum.

That is a rule there, but not here. However, for one who apparently so ardently believes that one should help out the site that is helping them, you (and I checked) have NOT paid ANYTHING to help the site.

In fact, you aren't even a DCM for the site, and you only have 9 posts! 9 posts and you are advertising here.

It seems you are using this site, and it is a sad day for Blue table painting.

Chuck

OMG, Chuckyhol. If what you are saying is true, that is so sad and such a display of "bad business." As a DCM, I am offended. Shame on you Blue Table.

Yes, Chucky... harsh words, indeed.
I hope they are not tainted by the personal... conflict of opinions... we had a few months ago on Bartertown before my affiliation with Blue Table.
It would be a shame if a personal grudge from another site was being aired out here.

The fact of the matter is that Blue Table Painting had already inked a deal to be a paid supporter of and advertiser on this site before I posted our newsletter.

As has been stated numerous times, Blue Table Painting is an "above the board" business. We believe in supporting the hobby community as a whole, especially by supporting forums that support gamers. We support them financially whenever that option is available on sites where we post our newsletter.

Regarding the required payment for adverstising:
That is a rule there, but not here.

Correct. As has been demonstrated, however, we do not take advantage of loop holes. If we advertise, we pay for it. It is the right and moral thing to do.

Additionally, you will find that our posts are not all advertising. I would have more than 9 posts, had there not been problems with my computer communicating with the site (a fact that can be confirmed by the webmaster).
We support the gaming community be posting replies and thoughts on other people's threads whenever welcome and appropriate.

Blue Table Painting is a company OF gamers FOR gamers. We are not here to turn a quick buck and, most definitely, not to use or abuse the communities that we frequent. That would be a poor business decision, indeed.

No need to be offended, Darrian.
You will find that our point of view towards gaming forums is extremely gamer (and site)- friendly. We believe in "good business" or none at all. <G>

Sincerely,
Eric

I don't remember us having a disagreement on bartertown MagMem, but if we did I have forgotten it/gotten over it.

The main point of this discussion is that I was wrongfully under the impression you were blatantly using this site as a marketing tool, and it not benefiting in any way.

As it turns out I am incorrect, but the main thing is dakkadakka is being supported by your company.

Welcome to dakkadakka,

Chuck

For the record, Blue Table Painting did indeed pay for advertising on Dakka PRIOR to this thread being posted, and it IS their policy not to post on sites they don't pay to support.

Dakka Dakka is proud to have an ethical business such a Blue Table Painting choose our site as a place to promote their services. I hope you'll give www.BlueTablePainting.com site a glance. Even if you prefer to paint your own models, their gallery is truley impressive.

Tone for the following = cheerful

Even though Blue Table is a business, we are also hobbyists.  We work our tails off and produce something like four armies a week.  And we take about 300 pics a week.

That's a lot of content to contribute.  So, every week I write up about five articles about various projects and those get posted wherever we're welcome.

Hopefully that will make Dakka a richer place to visit.  And the money can't hurt either.  Aaaand maybe we'll get some work out of it.  Keep the dream alive!
