Don't feel bad about getting ignored. I know he's busy and all, but I'm still waiting on the answer to if I can upgrade to a Survivor pledge, and I asked him way back in around the time of the original pledge manager opening. That was what, March or April of 2013?

...and it's not like I haven't asked since either....

I'll probably end up receiving the game before I ever get an answer.

Received my Satan figures along with the Dung Beetle and Smoke Knight.
The staff was in two parts, I also thought it was broken and needed a pin. It's going to get pinned either way.

Castings look pretty good to me- I also got the White Speaker pinup and cripes there's some small details on these figures.

A question for the people waiting on feedback- did you ask Adam or Anna? After firing off an email to Anna I got a response back same-day. I'm pretty sure she handles all the kickstarter related stuff, and possibly other grievances I'm assuming. It would be worth a shot- anna@kingdomdeath.com

It's also worth noting that the re-opened pledge manager is broken at the moment so Anna may well be occupied fixing that,

and Joe their other staff member has only just got back from holiday

so it may be they are more occupied than normal

I figured the staff wasn't broken since the head was in a different colored material than the rest of the mini. Still not sure how I'm going to put that together though. It's way too small for me to pin it.

But I also have some pretty bad mold lines/mold slippage on one of the legs. And a few of the penises on my skirt are full of holes. (plus a tongue or two have holes in them as well).

Plus I only had one base in the box.

I made a boo-boo when I ordered the pin-up collection, e-mailed them straight after ordering and it was all resolved within 30 mins. That was using the contact info on the Kingdom Death shop.

gak!

Thanks a lot guys!

I've been so good not spending any money, but 25 bucks for that naked experiment of death? Why not?

The question now becomes where the hell will I put those wet nurses that won't freak the family out?

Lock them away, fully painted and assembled, deep in their underwear drawers... For that one day the under wear runs out, and there it is. One day....

Nobody caught these photos that ended up in the comment section? For shame Dakka!

Hope you know how you're going to build your starting survivors... otherwise the decisions just got made even more difficult!

I posted them in the KS thread down in Misc Games

(and was asked to spoiler them as it's apparently so big it messes up mobile browsers)

but I did indeed forget to cross post them here so well done

Somehow I'd missed the one in the Misc. games section.

Subscribed.

Supposedly my Experiment arrives today as well! Can't wait to figure out what the heck I'm going to do with it!

If it never receives rules for the actual Kingdom Death game, I see it getting use as an Ethereal for DeepWars/ShadowSea, or hanging out with all the other misbegotten Ysians I've got for Darklands.

So is that the survivors before all the armour upgrades and stuff? Looks pretty good. The back is a bit plain though as said above. Looks like an action man/Barbie.

Did they completely abandon the designs of the original survivors? I liked the characters of gruff Smashrock-Man, pale AnimeEmo Boy, Conveniently-Placed-Arm Girl, and I-hope-this-won't-fall-off Woman.

Or are the "Starting Survivors" different than the "Unarmored armor kit"?

They're different kits. The unarmoured kits are just alternative options that can allow you to show incomplete armour sets on starting characters, really. They don't look particularly great, but don't expect to be using them for a whole lot in game anyway.

Different survivors. These are more so you can easily switch in and out the armor kits. Hence why the back is kind of lame. At least, I assume so.

KS update was just posted. It's really long and has lots of pretty pictures.

Fulfillment is further delayed. My guess would be Q4 now at best, possibly next year.

High cost combined with no international vendor means the VAT on this will be absurd.

I'm speculating, of course.

Not VAT, just import duties in Canadia, but yeah, I'm thinking high cost and shiping will keep this one out of my reach until, at least, my car is paid off. At least I got a resin mini to lavish over.

Dudes, this is hard, the delay must hurt. I thought Dreamforge was getting a bit sluggish, but that worksheet. It gave me shivers.

Matthieu, if you want me to add one for you to my order let me know. I'm sure we can find a way to get em to you in Montreal somehow. Hell, I've always wanted to visit Quebec.

If they ever reopen the pledge managr, i'll be willing to add a boxed set for you Mathieu. I live in Montreal so it should be easy to find a place to meet. Though at this stage im wondering if, with all these delay, we willl get the game before 2020

Edit: While the unarmoured sets was rather underwhelming, the rawhide armour ones look stunning. Really eager to get this game.

I was gonna offer too since I'm in Ottawa but Montreal is a lot closer to Montreal. I believe the update reports that the pledge manager will be opened tomorrow, no?
