Well. Heres my 1850 Dethguard list. The Hand of Nurgle HQ Xarakus Hellplague Chaos Lord w/ M.o.N. Terminator Armor, Demonic Essence, Nurgle's Rot, Manreaper (or) Dreadaxe (depending on opponent) - 155 Elite The Chosen 6 Chosen w/ M.o.N. in Terminator Armor. Aspiring Champion w/ Nurgle's Rot, Plague Sword, Combi-bolter. 2 w/ Reaper Autocannon and Powerfist. 4 w/ Power Weapons and Combi-Bolters. - 334 The Corruptors 14 Chosen w/ M.o.N. in Terminator Armor. 1 Aspiring Champion w/ Nurgle's Rot, PLague Sword, Combi-bolter. 4 w/ Reaper Autocannon and Powerfist. 7 w/ Power Weapons and Combi-Bolters. 2 w/ Powerfist Fist and Combi-Bolter. - 704 Troops Squad Infectus 7 Plague Marines w/ M.o.N. CCWs and Bolters. Aspiring Champion w/ Powerfist, Nurgle's Rot and Bolter. 2 Plasmaguns. - 173 Squad Festus 7 Plague Marines w/ M.o.N. CCWs and Bolters. Aspiring Champion w/ Plasma Pistol, Nurgle's Rot and CCW. 2 Meltaguns. Infiltrators. - 194 Squad Corruptus 7 Plague Marines w/ M.o.N. CCWs and Bolters. Aspiring Champion w/ Powerfist, Nurgle's Rot and CCW. Meltagun. Flamer. Infiltrators. Teleport Homer - 195 Heavy Support "Ultimus Destructus" Defiler w/ Indirect Fire and Searchlight - 176 Grand Total: 1931 OKay redid it once again. i did math wrong sorry. i thought it was +10 to upgrade to termies and +3 for M.o.N. so now im over 200 points too high  so i took out the extra 7 marines to squad Corruptus and tank hunters from the big termie squad. i am still 81 points over  what should i do!!??!! take out all the infiltrators? get rid of lord upgrades? gete rid of Champ upgrades? Indirect Fire? And By the way the search light is there because this is an RTT list and i might have to play a scenario that involves night fighting so the 1 point searchlight will help me out there. Thanks in advance!

It looks fine. But I'd not put plasmaguns in a powerfist squad, and I wouldn't mix meltas/flamers. I'd also go two reapers on those termie squads, the heavy flamer seems kinda pointless to use instead of your only long range antitank firepower.

Consider dropping a couple of power fists out of your terms. Mix power weapons with fists- pw will thin the opponents down so they can't throw a lot of dice, then fists wipe them out. Drop the havoc launcher for the defiler- the BC/ auto cannon is enough. Use those points to give your aspiring champs Nurgles Rot. Definitely don't mix flamers and meltas, concentrate your special weapons to focus on the same type of target - light/medium infantry or heavy infantry/vehicles. Lastly, give your infiltrators teleport homers. You want those terminators up close and personal. Where are your icons? Again, infiltrators with an icon get your demons in the fray right away.

nurgle terminators are not gonna be deepstrikin moop. They're there to be long range fire support not deepstriking. A nurgle list cant afford the model count hit of starting half their army off the board.
I agree on cutting back to half powerfists at most though. that's a good savings point.
the combiflamer/combimelta I think I would lose too as they just make you have a difficult time pulling them.
2 x reapers with powerfists, the rest should be power weapons I think.

Mostly agree with what's been already said. To recap: * Don't mix weapons in a squad * Fists usually go better paired with assault weapons instead of rapid fire * Lose the havok launcher from the Defiler * Two reapers in each termie squad, might want to consider getting tank hunters as well * Go ahead and get rot on the champs - for 5 points it's only got to work once per game for it to pay for itself plus a bit (in almost every case), so why not? In addition, I'd drop a member from the chosen unit that's accompanying the lord. I can look it up if you want, but I'm 99% certain that he counts as part of the squad size for determining if they get the free champ or not. Technically, if that's in there like I think it is, you'd need to drop a termie to get the free champ because of this rule.

OK guys i changed the list how you said but i now have about 200 more points to spend? what should i spend it on. Also i have a question about deepstriking and icons. Cant units w/ mark of nurgle only take the plague banner? should i add more icons/banners? and chaos terminators can deepstrike!? i didnt know that! should i have them deepstrike or not? By the way my lord will be joining the unit named "The Chosen" thanks again!

Because of the way Chosen work in the Chaos dex, the 6 man squad basically is required to be taken as your Lord's Retinue. So that's good. Never deepstrke them. Deploy them behind LOS blocking terrain, then walk them into or around it and start firing. Easy peasy. For 200ishpts you can get: Another squad. A havoc squad. An all-Las predator with possession and mutated hull. I would do this: Drop PB's/nurglings, add 7 man to your plague sword squad and replace it with a powerfist. Add 7 guys to the 2 meltagun squad. Then you've got some hefty model count. Yar. Another thing you could do is add 7 terminators to your HQ retinue or your terminator squad.

ok so if i do as you says ill take out the plague banner and plague bearers and teleport homers giving me another 172 points leaving me with 372 mor points! so i redid my list again: took away plague banner, nurglings and plaguebearers. and i added 7 mor terminators (2 more reapers and powerfist, 4 w/ power weps 1 w/ powerfist). 7 more plaguemarines to the plageu sword squad and changed it to a powerfist. and i added tankhunters to both my terminator squads. Thanks again c&c still welcome!

I agree that DS two units of terminators would be 1 too many. However I still think 1 unit DS coming off a unit of infiltrators is mighty fine!

That sounds solid. 21 terminators, 28 marines, and an indirect defiler? Ow. It may be better to put the extra termies in the elite slot so you don't have an 800 pt HQ, but whatever. I don't think I'd want to fight 21 fearless T5 terminators. ugh.

Shouldi give the defiler indirect? and the HQ only costs 648 points :p Yeah i think i agree with making the 13 termies into a unit of 6 and 7. inorder to pay for the indirect and add nurgle's rot to the champ ill have to get rid of the tank hunters on the Termies unit. Is it worth it?

Id go with 4 rhino squads with plasma/melta for balanced shooting 1 land raider 1 defiler w/ indirect 1 hth dreadnaught 1 manreaper lord
1850 and the rhinos make sure your guys get to combat faster than they would walking.

Comparing tournament records is another form of e-peen measuring.

I like the big bulk squad of termies actually. Hard to take below scoring. I'd go with a 6 man retinue + lord, and a 14 man normal squad probably, just to get some of the hq points down a little. I would say just take the goodies offa the defiler to pay for stuff. Defiler with indirect fire: 175 pts. No need to buy all the goodies for him. Thehod - the only place rhinos get you faster is the graveyard, buddy. I'll take a 50 man army with 21 terminators over 36 models witha bunch of vulnerable vehicles any day. a HTH dreadnought and a landraider? You're completely changing his army concept, which is infiltrating squads and termies.

It looks really good man. can't argue much with 21 termies and 28 marines at 1850.
The defiler should be 176 with indirect and a searchlight is the only thing I see wrong. Maybe use those 20 points to buy parasitic possession or something if you haven't already and just forgot to note it.
Or to throw a powerfist on that third squad just for the sake of completeness.
I think this list is going to take some serious finesse to play right. So don't get discouraged if you get whallopped a few times.
p.s. remember to buy your Chaos termies on Ebay. they are not worth 50 bucks a box.

I think some of your points are off though.
A 14 guy terminator squad with 4 reapers and tankhunters is 696 pts by my count, with no upgrades on the aspiring champion.
