Nuclear: Properly pronounced new-clear, not new-cue-lir. There is no 'u' between the c and l, so stop saying it because it just makes you sound like a dumbass. This includes nucleolus, and all other derivatives of the word.

I like it but the gravel's kind of fugly. It would probably be best if you continued it under the deck and maybe painted it to better match the walls.

Looks good, one recommendation, give it another couple of layers of sand on the base and where you have used it, once dry paint all the sand with very watered down scored brown (or what ever color you want black, grey, lighter brown etc) once thats dry dry brush it with bleach bone for brown, stick some small clumps of static grass on the base and sanded areas and it will look ace.

looks pretty good man
alot better than what i do lol
one thing, to make the floor look a little more broken, theres a quick step you can do (either on this or future projects)
i like to take little sticks of model sprues bout .75" to and inch long
just put the sprue pieces in to the floor of the second level where it is broken, and it gives the effect of support beams in the floor that were broken off along witht the concrete during the destruction

Nice! I especially like the old pipe you have coming out of the wall.
I can't tell from the photos if you modelled the inside of the wall where the pipe should poke through to connect to something previously?

Very nice, especially for a first try! If you like working with the foam & plan on building alot more, might want to invest in a hot wire foam knife. Some craft stores carry them (places like Michael's or Joann Fabrics) and they work pretty well for cutting out windows (which is the biggest pain to me). I like the stick models- basically a straight wire that plugs in & heats up. Usually go for @ $20

The thread is 6 years old. Images not hosted on Dakka are quite often no longer around after that sort of time.
