Subject: Jump Pack Terminators and other various odd ideas...

A friend and I were having a little game and he mentioned that terminators are really slow. So he was thinking they should have the options to have jump packs
Not only that, but we were talking about some other SM things, and the idea of Assault Marines on bikes came up How would it work though? Wierd.
Other things we were talking about:
-Terminator Bikers
-Venerable Venerable Dreadnoughts
- Flying dreadnoughts
- Dreadnought lightning claws
- Dreadnought battlecannons
- Vindicator with a predator turret
- Land Raiders with turbo boosters
- Super Land Raiders
- Space Marine Ogryns
- Attack bikes with two dudes on the sides.
- Honour guard scouts
- Scout dreadnoughts
- Obliterator Dreadnoughts (chaos)
- Land Raider Grav Tanks
Just our random musings. Enjoy and discuss :3

yea blood angels had a decent bit of that list, for the rest not really imho.
Either a bit unbalanced or just not needed. e.g turbo boosting land raiders (act6ually just flat out, bikes turboboost, not vehicles) or attack bikes with 2 guys respectively.

Jumppack Terminators!!!!!, I hear you. Here's somthing I started a while back.

"Attack bikes with two dudes on the sides" this sounds pretty sweet and probably a fun conversion. Concider it added to me list of projects.

Oh, I'm not saying they should be actual codex entries, that would be silly
These are all just the result of a silly conversation on the monotony of SMs

Mega armour grots for orks, they would be well funny, a grot with a 2+!
This is one i would like to have, grot sniper teams, only for the fact that if a grot sniper takes out anything it would be soul crushing for the oponent.

This is sounding more and more like something I fully expect to see in the next Duke Nukem game.
And it's playing The Trooper with one hand on a guitar with an underslung heavy flamer.

I was gonna say, sounds like someone should be playing 1st or 2nd edition. You could do most of that stuff. I had a dreadnought that I designed with a Marco Cannon.
Oh how I miss parts of the old game. Yeah not great for tournaments, but so much fun. Now I cant even throw a proper grenade or split fire, or move everyone except my heavy weapon and still shoot with everyone.
Im glad my old group and i still play with house rules.
