I have found their purpose and the location of that purpose!!!!!

But I can't tell anybody....... the secret Sentinel of the Order of Orky Goodness made me pinky swear not to...

but besides that sad moment, I'm likin' the Cult of the Omnipotent Mind's Eye so far (man, that's a mouthful). Keep up the good work.

Secret Sentinel of the Order of Orky Goodness you say? Hmm... I didn't know there was such a thing as "goodness" in an ork, let alone enough of this "goodness" to have an order of sentinels... I thought "goodness" to an ork was simply having plenty of dakka dakka and plenty of things to dakka dakka into dust... Seems suspicious and I'd be careful if I was you... But they are your points now, so HAVE FUN!!!

No real surprise that orks found a shipment of 9er_Points though, looting is what orks do 2nd best. (Shooting things is 1st.) I wonder if painting the 9er_Points red make them go faster or do anything else special!?!

As for Sgt. Alexander, he is fine... No mutation or corruption in any way. Honest! If you dont believe me, Sgt. Alexander has offered to give you a hug to prove that he doesn't have an implant attack viral infectious tongue.

If Sgt. Alexander tries to hug me, I might have a freak-out attack and stab him in the back.... oh wait, I wasn't supposed to admit that out loud... oh well...

The first army, which is my main army, are Tyranids: Hive Fleet Malicean: This army is my foundation.

The second army would be this W.I.P. Genestealer Cult Army: The army concept behind my inspiration for this whole debacle.

I am using the old Genestealer Cult codex from way back when. It is still playable with 5th ed rules, but I doubt I will be winning any kind of tournaments with it. (If I am even allowed to use it to begin with.) So the idea is to sculpt, convert, and finagle the figurines into a "Counts As Tyranid Codex Army" as well as keeping true to the actual Genestealer Cult Codex.

Here is my dilemma: Can a third army spring from the idea in keeping with the generalized "Genestealer Cult" theme of sculpting? I just made some purchases before I had this idea, and they are kind of on opposite sides of the spectrum.

I just got 5x IG figurines that I wanted to make count as Termagaunts after some conversion work, or they can be used as Brood Brother Hybrid squads as per the Genestealer Cult Codex. So I could simply go buy an IG codex and build up from there, just adding an additional claw or extra arm here and there. If I get some vehicles, the GS cult codex has rules for looted tanks and stuff. Any vehicles though wouldn't mesh to well with the Tyranid army.

I also purchased the 4x Ork Boyz booster pack, and I had planned on making them count as Hormagants with their close combat weapons. For the GS Cult codex they would count as Brood Commandos (/Komandos). I could, I suppose, make them a Greenstealer cult but use the Ork Codex. If I do this, then the IG figures could perhaps, maybe, kind of possibly count as Gretchin? On the flip side of that, if I go with IG, the Orks could possibly count as Orgryn.

I had some other ideas on the third codex to use, but I need your help fellow Dakka Dakkites!
We already talked about:
a) IG
b) Ork
I could possibly go with:
c) Tau... I'm not sure, but I thought they had rules for adding mercenaries; or I could just be making that up. If they do then the Orks and Ig would still work in the army. If I am wrong then ignore this option.

d) Witch/Daemon Hunters... They are already fanatical about the Emperor, why wouldn't they be just as crazy about the Hive Mind when infected with the Genestealer virus? Plus, the IG figurines I have can be used as mercenaries and I have some extra SM figurines. The Orks however, not so much.

e) Chaos Space Marines... The genestealer virus mutations are not too far off from chaos mutations. If I get a Carnifex it can count as a defiler perhaps, or vice versa. That is really as far as I have thought, I'm not too familiar with this or the other listed options.

This is a dilemma indeed. These are the few I have thought of that could possibly work out. I don't think Necrons will mesh with trying to use three codexies with one army. But I am welcome to any feed back, further ideas, concepts, or suggestions on things that would make valid "counts as" sculpts. I am stuck and don't really want to move forward with what I am doing until I have a clear goal in mind. This weekend though I will be posting pictures of what I have done thus far, so stay tuned.

I know I promised pictures, and don't worry, those are coming. I promise promise... Which is better than just a regular promise because I said it twice.

And yes, there is actually still one 9er Point floating around from the last contest. It is still looking for a good home, so I will update the clue to help out.

The clue from before was that the same GW product was used on ever single of the hybrids I had previously made.

Most of the new ones pictured above DO NOT use that GW product because I ran out of it. However, I used the last little bits of the unnamed GW product on one of those Guardsmen hybrids and a little for the Relic Bearer.

Find the difference, win the point!
