You noticed the markings with the stripe in the middle
White with red stripe=Superheavy tank support

Red with black stripe= Heavy support

Yellow+black stripe=Artillery

Blue with black stripe=transport division

Some of the superheavyes have been marked as artillery, and the Hydra marked like a Leman Russ, but falls under support via tank as it does not transport, nor lobs or shoots tanks

ah that explains it... and since we don´t often see artillery here that yellow stripe was kinda seldom to behold^^

and i figured you had a clever plan worked out with the markings^^

Of course! I just got done doing some minor re-work on another Basilisk.had to add rivets decals, better mud and dirt wash it down, stuff is still wet and shiny, pics later on.

Oh, that now depends on finding opponents, and to travel as my ride and his work has to coincide with a day off, but his Girlfriend, well, she does have priority demands as he is the only driver in the house so, it has not been easy. the oily smoke effects look very good... convincing... wouldn´t want to touch these spots^^

those gun barbettes... could you describe these a bit more? are these the same as on a chimera ... these bitz with a round ball and a lasgunbarrel? to stand in for soldiers that shoot at enemies from within with their lasguns or am i misunderstanding something here?

also, how will you model the trench rails? you still have some bitz of these or will you scratchbuild these then?

how many transport places will this beast hold? the whole concept looks like an allrounder to me... transport and a hard hitter...

I like it when the effect makes for a desire to not touch the model for fear something will dirty said fingers!

you know those nerds out there that keep on fussing about not drilled out barrels? well my nerdrage always comes in when i see a tank barrel that shows the connection of the two halves.... not that many peeps will see that ever... but it just makes me feel akward about it... i usually put PVA in the barrel and once set i paint it over...

and that´s got to be the cheeriest LR of your collection atm^^

and... the dozerbalde makes me think dirty thoughts mister

IF you do this... then please add a step by step for this procedure as much as you can! as i think it would be nice to see how this can be achived... as i think one of these days i have to start making a tank from scratch again^^

LOL! I know Vik, I have rammed a beat up old brush full of chaos black down that main gun barrel to make it harder to spot.

All of them look pretty cheery before i slp 'em with the mud and grunge wash

Oh that too will be filthy

I have them accessible, and may pull them out for a look see and they may need a repaint.

Of course! Step with the boiling water will steam the camera, but the softening is the main trick, then I can shape the plastic and the cold air or water will get it back to normal yet curved for an easier gluing to the strut.

P.S. I Pm'd Dave as the rain is pouring like I was Noah, so I am guessing the post may have it in their hands, I get lucky that way a lot, last time the panic was over how long resin and plastic kits sat under a blazing hot sun!

The plastic stuff from Defiance Games was sitting on the bottom, the package you sent me and the Hasslefree resins were on top, full baking in the sun!! Nearly had a heart attack as images of squishy looking parts danced in my brain.
Fortunately, they all came at once to the door and sat for mere moments as I had been listening for the delivery.
