Those lizards make excellent Catachan Rough Riders!

Well the riders I was thinking of converting for my boys kroot army. the light infantry a beefy scout squad for his marine army (love the mounty hats) and I have no idea beyond maybe my other boys chaos for the hussars. Although seeing your guys on here I may be persuaded to part with the Hussars to someone who can do them more justice than me.

Soo many projects so little time and all.

Believe it or not, though they are "Table top ready paints wise, they have some touches and camo work to b finished, but here, I present command and one squad of the 144Th Kruegerian Grenadiers.

Very nice paint job on these shaso. I never got into warzone, that's where these are from correct? The camo is excellent, so good I had to look twice t find the ace of spades.

That is some damn fine camo work there! Your patience with a brush is impressive!

good looking camo... is this a german reference camo by chance? I have seen that camno somewhere on some warzone minis already...and not yours I might add... looks very good mister...and knowing your medical condition I say respect for getting that done so good looking... you outdone yourself... have yourself half a holiday...and report back for perimeter duty later on today

Thanks guys!, and the camo pattern is a two-tone splinter camo concept. well, three tone counting the green background color for the desert yellow and XV-88 color over that, well inside that.

Yep, IG decals are all in white. Oh and I found that other squad, some Van Saar make up the rest of that veteran unit. Lighter armored than the rest, if the Hussars arrive, I will then have a new batch to paint like this all.

Also, since a lot of the painting is done at odd hours, hand painting is quieter than air brushing.

Great Dual usage figs. I loved the twin linked rotary guns when they were available, but not enough to get into the game.

Any fig in 28mm is useable one way or another!

I've got 60 of them and a crusader. I love them and need to assemble more of the troopers, but they are so tiny and fiddly my fat fingers have some problems.

wow... what is better than one gatling? right...two gatlings... omg!... that gun wielding guy is great... and also I like your painting... these have due to the hair and skin a more comic approach... but I think that suits them just fine!... really cool bunch shaso!

coincidence? I have a Z6 rotary blaster from SW to show atm in my thread^^...I swear I didn´t forsee such events here at this thread^^

Sounds like you need the clamp station with the magnifier Theo! But yeah, I also want the Hannomags for the bunch, even some for the Bauhaus guys.

Vik, these were minis designed in the late 1980's and executed to form in the 1990's so the books have a certain comic approach as the art looked like comic books! Also, I had the issue of less steady hands when I made the eyebrows, and remembered from my army days that there are guys with such wild eyebrows of immense thickness, and one even had a what we called a unibrow!~ He never did cut that center down, just had the one long line of eyebrow hair all the way across from left to right!

Oddly enough I bought one a week ago and haven't used it yet.

Have you seen the pieces for the Eisenkern though, because they are that tiny. We give GW a lot of crud for the large hands, but it oes make putting a model together easier.

Oh I started with 1/72 scale models as a kid, so no big deal for me, well, before the arthritis kicked in that is. now tweezers for small parts of miniatures for me!

I can do it, I'm just not accustomed to the tiny pieces is all. Marc I'd a fantastic job with the kit.

Yeah, I figured the accessory kit, 2 squads, and maybe 5 Hannomag 6 x 6 kits

Okay, I was fast with this today, My Russo-French turreted Leman Russ Exterminator, Hatch for the commander and the periscope are Russian inspired additions to the French turret taken from a Char B-1 bis kit that got transformed into a Malcador "Defender"
