that is a really interesting way to mnake scratchbuilt wheels... but lego wheels are easier and quicker to optain...and cheaper^^

Yes, it is a real unusual scheme but works well, plus it has become your trademark I love the variation in your tank designs stops it becoming boring as most battalions look repetitive.

Most players only had a single choice for their Leman Russ tanks so I had to go and get the revised kit(Older kit with new add ons), the latest Leman Kits(That new turret), and I went for alternate kits to convert, Old Crow kits, and scratch building to get the varied look of different designs otherwise it would have been another Leman Russ Spam forces.

Qft. Any miniature army can have unusual camo, as long as it is consistent it is good in my eyes. If they were green/blue on one, red/orange on another, purple/yellow on another I could understand it to even be chaos camo two tone. If each model was splashed with different colors with no pattern consistent, then there's no way for me to begin to believe it was anything but an accident.

Considering how chilly the majority of the Khadrovian planets in their star systems are, this camo pattern worked best for them in general.

Ah Vik, that ios finally revealed the "City Bell" demolisher tank in the end of the first pic.

The middle one is actually a 1/35 scale PzKpfW-IIf flammenpanzer I converted to a alternate Hellhound design!

I figured something along the lines of either frozen field or wetland worlds for your camo to work out, thanks for letting us know.

I think Shas is due for another Parade of Strength!

@Theo; Yep, their "summer" the temps get a right balmy 10-15celsius! so marshy tundra with rocky escarpments. A real cross between Scottland and Siberia!

@Dave;, well it may take several hours of setting and taking pics at a game shop to have buildings and a street set up, if you lot do not worry about it, hours of lining up the soldiers and then the vehicles that will stretch down the length of the house!

@Vik, yeah they had just 10 of their vehicles where in the past they would parade hundreds of tanks, and the other stuff, now they had just light recon/upgraded BTRs, just 10 T-90's 10 SPG's missile air and surface to surface mostly went with regiments of colored uniforms.

@Dave; Oh yeah, the set up will be interesting I have at least 8 worlds soldiers to show off, then the tanks, APC's artillery and superheavies to parade, and the walkers.

So, finally got one batch done to deal with a few more! but inks are almost out, and mud is low. I hope to have another influx of money in the next month or two so I can resupply myself this way faster. Meanwhile, enough about RL and on with the tanks!

Good 'ole 142, I was almost out of all the right parts as it is a older Leman Russ, and the double treads did take over the wheels, and such, so it's treads may look a little odd at points

This baby got BACK! the Demolisher I call "City Bell" and yes it has weight too as it is the old plastic leman with metal parts, like that engine cover for example the main cannon and the turret side armor along with the sponson plasma guns all metal kids!

The oddball T-101 with the Battle Cannon in the lower hull, not the turret, odd thing is shortly after I made it with the twinlinked cannons in the turret, the DKoK book came out and I saw that FW had done the same thing, odd how that seems to support the Murphy's Rules.

The mud is made with a mix of browns, and salt for the "rocks" you see sticking to the tanks.

@Dave; Yeah, amazing how WW-II Lights can work for 40k, although the T-34 was a Medium, and came out as a longer, lower slung Vanquisher tank for me, LOL!

Thanks Dave, I try to make all my stuff look as good as possible. I was surprised that they "squashed" the time honored Phaeton pattern turret and did not go Mars or Ryza pattern in plastic, or the option of such for the glacis plate thus ending the bow sponson, but well, I guess they didn't want to go too far and anger the loyal tread 'eads
