Nice drop! Looking forward to your work on the enforcer dudes. If the cassette cases are the thinner variety (closer to an inch than an inch and a half) you can use them with the included foam as figure cases. They work pretty well for holding restic and plastic minis in place.

i wonder if one could persuade players to use these new DZ minis as some kind of hardened and not hoity toity tau...some tau that would kick bum in CC...their style could be something they wou,d use...

They might hold the normal guys if laid down just right, tight fit. I think the cases are just about 1"

actually i think with some small fixes for details the washed look on them is a very effective camo... wouldn´t you agree?
the e-knuckleduster is a very unique idea... that i haven´t seen on the models at all...
one small nitpick here for me is the occudroid... the stem looks way too thick... can you do some greystuffing or other to make this look better? some twisted and threaded wire maybe? later on you could paint it like energy beams?

LOL! Yeah I am a bit crazy with all of this to do! of course as I am on disability, this helps keep me from dropping deep into depression as I was a person who enjoyed a good days' hard work.

Yeah that stem needs to be painted as a energy support projected from the droid.

The knuckleduster style fists is very nice, and a difference from 40k Over sized fists Reminded me of Mark Hamill in Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back with SM Mega fists of large size!

Yeah, well, when one is forced by health to early retirement and was used to being busy all day long yet can't do so anymore, the hobby saves the day and mind!

As for the support, maybe a paperclip wire straightened our to do it, or shift it to a clear flight stand. Wire seems more likely as it is so tiny a droid.

I will "wash" them for more detail exposure but those 3 pics are to fill the time gap.

it is a horror story actually how much my youth icons have aged... hamill, fischer...and even harrison look so sunken and shrivelled...i must say...i recently saw james earl jones in an episode of big bang theory and he is by far the best conserved of the lot...

i would actually opt for a clear flight stand... if the stands are not currently available ...then a q-tip rod would be of help?...often they come in the clear variety...

i think actually opposed to the planned scheme to match your army you should do a scheme that would loosly hint at operation house party of the iron man 3 movie...that was a balst...and the DZ models really have that iron man theme^^

I was 13yrs old when the first ever Star Wars movie ,,,,ep IV came out, 1977, my how we all grew old.

The clear base is quite a larg stand, even at the tip, so wore may be better as a swap out. The tip of the clear stand is thicker than the poly stand.

Well, all the major I.C.E. troops are that blue-steel theme, but the one special sgt,,,,,,he rocks in red/gold

my favourite stances are the both, the far left and the far right one...the one with the shiled and shotgun coombo and the left one ...he looks business because i imagine him using cover from the surroundings... the middle ones sadly have the space marine defect when it comes to staying upright as a tree in a gale...bound to catch every stray bullet tossed at them ...well at least they´re wearing helmets...

Well the big guy with the shield, is sporting a double barreled heavy rifle, the smaller enforcer with shield has the shotty. Oh they had one with a opened face plat, helmet still on, but face bared, but that does not fit the background of my I.C.E. Sanction, that scout N32-19 is gonna need special fluff as he is mostly bare head and eyes

Of course amongst the I.C.E. Sanction troops, some have personalities despite their training and conditioning, and amongst the Blank based soldiers comes the Scarlet Sergeant, "Sgt H", a very able and capable trouble shooter in close combat with his powered claws, and he likes to be different by making his armored suit a different color from the others.

And of course the Big Guys of the I.C.E. Sanction Initiative of the Inspectorate. These are the going to be the troops that deal with some tougher problems. The shield bearer is the first in so that the shield takes all hits and allows the others to move in while the enemy is reloading.

Metallic blue, eh? Interesting. I like the red on not-Wolverine. Not so keen on the addition of the gold though. I think when I get to mine, maybe I'll do him up in red and black.

Oh there are parts I am going to make black, trust me. They all get some black on them.

Okay, so I got inspired, I have had this spare turret from the "starfish" carrier, and it is the right size to be a servo-turret, i.e. unmanned and remote directed by the commander inside the Not 'chimera" I am working on It means mutilation of a weapon to make it work inside the confines of the thing

I then placed a piece of plasti-card on top of the chassis so the turret may sit and give an approximation of how it would work out, I am likely as ever to place it off center, but it can be better judged this way.
