3 items per log, easy. Mine's piston-based.

Nah, I don't give a toss about the forest biome, that's your lands. The trees you did plant in the desert though are gone though, as I use that area of sand quarrying, and I needed a lot of it earlier today.

Oh, and @thenoobbomb, that hut is bloody amazing man. =P

No problem...those trees were boredom... Only interest I have in the desert is sand for glass as long as that's not an issue with you! BTW, I've got a bunch of sheep in a corral if you need any wool. I'm trying to stockpile light gray wool for a project, so I'm trying to breed a bunch of sheep.

By the way, Wyrm, I put a chest with a bunch of cobble I had left over by part of your wall that was under construction. I have plenty more that's just sitting in chests if you need any.

Use a piston to move the log itself and you can have four per log, with the logs being two-high.

Or normal piston at bottom and top. Make pillar, with a gap at the top. Pushes it up and harvests it all then a delay pushes it back into place.

Mine only requires one piston per log.

Mine can go up to 12 logs per piston pair though. I just thought it up on the spot there, so without yours it probably wouldn't have been thought up anyway.

Been playing since early Alpha, the only things I recommend are,

-Find a server where the admins/mods are actually fair and not going /smite (name) just for the lolz

-Befor begging for items try to find the servers FAQ page sometimes it will answeevrey question and more

-I recommend that you find a clan server, these usually have a small to medium range of players that are active and are friendly

Personally I think minecraft is the best game I have ever played besides 40k

This is the server I've been on for a long time now, http://multifarious.org/ it's an awesome server 99.9% legit and very friendly staff and players.

I have FINALLY managed to get my computer to run minecraft with an fps higher than 15. I just needed to turn my fething graphics card on. And adjust some settings. At least it's about 150 on render distance normal now anyway. Perfect for recording. But, of course, my mic SUCKS.

When you record, if you have fraps, the program brings your fps down to a stable 30 fps. No matter how many fps you get when not recording you'll be stuck on 30 with fraps. What recording software do you use if not fraps?

There's probably tons out there really, the better stuff would cost you though. Some would even say CamStudio, but I don't make lets plays anyway.

If you're having problem running at high FPS I would not advise Fraps,
If your Pc is running dual or Quad core, Fraps is no good, its only designed to use single core CPU's and then takes up more space on dual or quad core CPU's
I'd try Dxtory if I were you

Fraps has settings to adjust the framerate limit, up to a max of 120fps.

In seriousness though, it's only happened because I made a backup of my profile while investigating the last griefing incident and the map generator picked up the backup as well as the original. I'll try to remember to fix it when I update the map this evening.

Sort of gives the impression of a team of clones blocking access to the crime scene while a couple investigate.
