I'm planning on eventually setting up my Netherside as an extension of the Mesa anyways. If you want to leave the netherwrack in chests too, I'll end up smelting that up into the brick that I'll need to work on the path anyways.
I currently don't have anything in particular that I want the quarts for, though I wouldn't mind a little kickback if you find an especially good amount of the stuff.
And if you'd want, you could bucket any lava you find into some pools for later use in Obsidian farming or making other Portals.
Automatically Appended Next Post: Also- What exactly is the deal with Egg Zombie Hordes? Do adult zombies holding eggs not despawn or something? Because I had a run-in with about 40 of the buggers.
Correct. They do not despawn its quite annoying.

It could be kinda neat to use a spawner and an egg generator to just create an entire room with a massive horde of zombies in it- then have a piston gate that would let you unleash them into a man-made cave/labyrinth system as a challenge.

Yeah, there should be a fair bit in the Mountain Crown storage room (straight out of the portal) it has its own chest so you shouldn't need to search for long to find it.
There are 3 enchanted books in your gravel chest, many thanks

Might cause unneeded lag though :/

You could always have glowstone on a switch to stop new zombies from spawning. Limit it to a few dozen or so.
I think the mob limit will also kick in at a certain point too.

The mob limit can be easily tricked
Portals that link up to each other to a mob spawner. I just wait for them to pop out the other side let them spawn enough and it can ignore the spawn. (only works from nether to overworld)
So sometimes I can get over 6 thousand mobs. I only do this on single player for testing though. I do not suggest anyone. EVER do this on the server. It would kill it.

World border is fixed! Darknnit should use this so people don't go super far out :/

Four my villagers just despawned. They just went poof their gone, even though this morning I saw them. Maybe some unknown glitch spawned them and kill them? They had fantastic trades.
One of the villagers also went from silk touch trade to looting (Not complaining but still, wierd.)

Very kind, thank you.

Sadly not, the egg-zombies don't count towards the mob limit in an area which is why they are so troublesome. If they aren't dealt with they can cause massive lag in certain areas. As far as I know they don't despawn even when a chunk is unloaded and as newly spawned zombies pick up eggs they add to the problem.

Dang.
Is this a deliberate game mechanic or a fluke of the coding?

Building TnT cannons is easy. Its grinding out all the Creepers for Gunpowder that is tedious.

Personally, I think a little PVP would be awesome- but only without TNT. That just tends to get a little crazy and cause unnecessary damage to the surroundings, plus it pretty much negates any sort of built defense you could make.
No-digging PVP would be cool, though.

I would definitely be interested in making some sort of Arena to have arranged PvP fights.

YES YES YES
Though add some mob spawning chambers to the sides (with water channels to funnel the mobs into the arena and piston operated doors) so it can double as a COOP arena.
As the server administrator/mod Darkinnit can create mob spawners yes?
All in favor of adding more villagers to trade with at spawn?
AYE!
Darknnit could add it so that the villager sells the new stone types in exchange for cobblestone. But on a 1:1 for basis.
And then add a world border so people don't randomly go in a straight line and generate hundreds of thousands of blocks.
And yeah I am up for a PVP area. And we could have house stark, house lannister etc. And just have fun with that. And no digging and no tnt would be a great rule
That way we can build really really epic builds.

Im sure there could be something done with command blocks to switch people into adventure mode. chuck em into a hunger games kinda area with ruins and chests.
This is one of the the most common structures made.
