Yes, very much so, and in win 10 as well. It won't even start. However, if you can pick up both it and NV you can get the TTW (tale of two wastelands) mod which ports 3 over to NV allowing for the mechanical upgrades NV got, and it runs even on 10. Do that instead.

Oh! Didn't think there would be a solution for this. I'll give it a shot then. Thanks!

There are mods that make it work on 7, but I had problems with them. And when you can be able to muck about with both the 3 and new vegas stuff, as well as being able to use mods from both, there's no contest.

There is apparently some kind of issue with GFWL which prevents it from running. I spent about an hour trying to get it to run on 8 with no luck. It doesn't work with 10 either.
Currently playing Prison Architect. Basically finally finished my first large prison. Capacity of 588 I think. It's worth over 2 mil. So probably going to sell it and start a new one. Want to do a more planned layout. Want to do double walled perimeter and come up with a layout that segregates prisoners from staff. I want all my logistics centralized and prisoners around the perimeter.

Ran with with Windows 10, but lots of crashes. Boots very quickly, though, so it was okay. Still an amazing game. Cannot wait for FO4 to be fully modded. It will be glorious.
First time buying a bunch of stuff on a steam sale. Usually I somehow miss the sale.
I grabbed Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate edition. Its my first Fallout game so Im looking forward to it.
Castlecrashers + Battleblock theatre. Been eyeing it up castlecrashers for ages and I used to love play alien hominid on the ps2. Grabbed the dual game pack cos it was still cheap and Ill probably enjoy both.
Then a heap of roguelike/roguelites some including FTL, pixel piracy, one more dungeon, and rogue legacy. Should keep me busy as I try them all.
Now to try downloading them all while someone else in the house's xbone drains the net doing its own downloads.
If you don't already, I'd suggest getting a console controller for Rogue Legacy- you can play it with keyboard and mouse, but the control setup is more intuitive and better suited for controller.
GENERATION 8: The first time you see this, copy and paste it into your sig and add 1 to the number after generation. Consider it a social experiment.

Yeah I switched to controller almost straight away. I was struggling to activate the standing platforms with the keyboard.
Played abit of castlecrashers, rogue legacy and fallout NV so far. Liking them all.
Got no idea what Im doing in fallout NV tho. I ended up stealing a big machete and massacring the town after half an hour of walking around confused. I'll figure it out eventually.

Don't particularly enjoy getting killed by teammates "for the lulz xD" and then having to sit out the rest of the match, not do I enjoy camping or having to face campers, so I won't be buying it.
Messed around in the Inadvisable Prototype. It's good, but at this point they are still 400k off their 1.5m kick-starter goal, so it may never get made. Lab zero, same people who did skullgirls, so that cool hand-drawn style.

Been playing mordheim. It's fun but it could probably use some more maps. I will also say some factions are easier to fight than others or at least with my skaven build. Sisters of sigmar and cult of the possessed seem hardest while empire is the weakest in almost every case (maybe the computer is just terrible with them). Skaven are about mid tier if I had to say. That said I had one really hard mission against empire but that was mostly because I attacked them little by little against probably all their forces. Not a good move.
Mercs are actually quite decent. The AI just doesn't use them very well.
Mercs make very good parry tanks later on in the campaign (even if some things like Rat Ogres and Possessed ignore parry) and they are also the only sort of viable ranged warband.

I disagree easily. I dunno how potent mercs ranged firepower are (I'm guessing the hunting rifle and blunderbuss are amazing but if you get dual warplock pistols on a nightrunner hero, give him the aim boost and mastery and warp poison and mastery and he is a fearsome opponent. Not as much anymore but he can fairly easily take off 80% of an enemy hero's health in one round of shooting or easily neuter an opponent's force with warp poison mastery (-4 action points if hit and effected but it doesn't stack so spread shots between opponents). I have to say it's just as potent as a effecting 3 enemies in range of 'curse of the horned rat' with mastery except better since it's -4 ap per guy instead of 3 and you can do it at range. Together however both abilities stack so if a bunch of enemies do a full surround on your skaven just warp poison mastery shoot a few of em and curse of the horned rat mastery on em and bam you get a grand total of -7 action points. If your opponent isn't crying at this point I don't know what'll make it happen. This is of course best case scenario but warp poison mastery shooting just the heroes while the curse of the horned rat mastery on all of em should suffice (that said a few warp poison shuriken armed verminkin should get the job done on low level guys in a combo with the horned rat ability).

You can do the same with a Youngblood and dueling pistols (without the warp poison obviously). A ranged warband is far from a viable choice but if you really want to do it Mercs are the only real choice given that they are the only ones with decent weapon options for henchmen.
Started playing Saints Row 4. I have been doing pretty much nothing except leaping up skyscrapers, outrunning and smashing into traffic with super speed, and randomly blowing stuff up in an alien tank. My itch for stupid chaos has been scratched. I hope Just Cause 2 will be just as nuts.

I really need to finish it one of these days. I was playing through it, started the Dominator DLC midway through, and then kind of forgot about it.
In the Steam sale, I've picked up Just Cause 2 and Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition. I already had the regular version of the latter, but DE looks so much prettier!
Add to that This War of Mine, Elite: Dangerous (which I can't run, but plan to be able to before long), and Mirror's Edge (which I already beat a long time ago on the 360).

I suppose it's true that the best henchmen can get are shurikens but warp poison definitely helps and works with them. It's less about massive damage and much more about debuffing the enemy. I have 3 verminkin with shuriken heavy ballistic skill loadouts and early on they were awesome. Even now they can cut the enemies attacks down by a lot.
Been playing some more Fallout 4. - Haven't had a crash since I 'verified the integrity of the game cache' - I think I'm going to need to do that somewhat regularly.
So yeah, well, I played pretty much the longest mission in the game so far. And it wasn't even a real mission. I just wandered into a random place in Boston, just in my combat armour, nothing fancy, no reason to expect a big fight, so I was just equipped with my 'standard' loadout.
A couple of each of the normal chems
20 purified waters (these had ran out, unfortunately)
3 radaways, 3 radx's (these had also mostly ran out)
3 each of frag mines, frag grenades, molotovs
My stimpaks (Emergency use only)
Army Fatigues and Combat Armour overlays
It started off easy enough. Some raider types, bit of exploration and scavenging. The weird thing was....
Spoiler:
a couple of the mirelurk hatchlings were around. No biggy though, defeated them, kept exploring.
Hmm, I seem to keep on going down. Oh, ok. Mirelurk nest. Not ideal but it's just a random building, nothing to worry about.
Shotgun, shotgun, shotgun. Darn, I hate mirelurks. I'm probably going to have to fight a Mirelurk Hunter at the end of all this. Hopefully not a Legendary one, fought him once and he was TOUGH.
Darnit, there he is, Mirelurk Hunter. Ok, got'im. - I guess they're not so tough after all when they aren't mutating every 5 seconds. Oh well, time to go.
WTF, the doors locked. Oh, ok, puzzle time.
Hmm, that puzzle wasn't much of a puzzle. Ok, time to go.... WAIT WTF THE HELL IS THAT? OHMYGOD!
*An hour and many, many, many deaths later.*
Ok, done. That was scary. Open door, time to go.
**BOOM** "WTF, mines?" Please tell me I quicksaved...
Ok, good, quicksave. Lets get out of here... Wait a sec. This isn't over yet? But, but, I've looted all the things? Is this a Raider base?
Darnit, this is a Raider base and I'm running low on ammo, I'm existing purely on stimpaks now, no grenades or shenanigans left in my and I'm half rad poisoned. But it's only raiders, I can do this!
Ok, that looks like the door here. Hey what's that whirring sound? That sounds a little like a...
*10 minutes and several deaths later*
"I survived! Ish. Kinda. Maybe. I need another stimpak."

Been playing Mass Effect 3 a lot the last two days. Never played it before or any of the others, but I already think this could be the best £3,70 I've ever spent (thanks Ebay!). Great combat/squad mechanics, the RPG elements are nicely varied without being overly complex, and the aesthetic is awesome. I'm also impressed by the fact that it does epic set piece battles and scenes so well, not something I expected from a game with this much of an RPG element to it,
Just attacking the Geth battleship, and getting quite irked that my cryo ammo isn't working too well on the robots. How else am I supposed to freeze my enemies solid, smash them apart, and proclaim that I'm just breaking the ice?
Got the interior decoration pack for Eurotruck Simulator 2. Aye, purely cosmetic, but at least now I can drive around in style with a bouncing head dog on my dashboard.
