I think at this stage there are so many eagerly awaiting the modular version that it'd be awful not to release it. The sheer levels of customisation make that one kit ideal to buy in multiples to fill out entire armies, all it needs is accessories and upgrade kits to make it every modellers dream (mostly).

That's because the OP really needs to update the thread title sometimes, or let the manufacturer run a thread of its own instead.

I have no interest in the 'evil' version whatsoever - the modular 'neutral' kit however, I'd buy 20-30 models worth' of.

That's a good idea - I'm 100% OK with Puppet's War starting a new thread so they can be in charge of it and change the title as they update the thread with new items.

At this point I wouldn't be surprised if they released a set of gunship accessories or a wrecked gunship before the real thing, just to see what the reactions they get are.
