Man, those geckos are fantastic. I'm not really a fan of most of Infinity's TAGs... I think they're one of the weakest parts of the range. But those are sweeeeet!

You're a bit out of your mind there!

The T.A.G.s are one of the strongest parts of the range - though to be honest, most of the range is pretty strong!

But yes, the Geckos are certainly nice!

That last one is my least favorite, and taken on it's own I don't think is strong at all... blends in okay as a part of the lineup, but just not a very well executed model (imo, of course ).

The two in your first pic do look fantastic, though, I'll give you that

The Avatar is an absolute beast. It's huge for a reason - the most powerful model in the game certainly should be that big!

Excecution... depends. It follows the design aesthetic of all EI constructs - the Anathematics, Charontids, Ikadrons and Drones. It's an aesthetic you're either going to love or hate. Personally I think it looks badass.

Never liked the Avatar or the Szalamandara one bit, completely not my desired aesthetic. On the other hand, the Guiji was so great I used one for my Yujing and another in my PanO force as a captured unit/counts-as Armored Cav with a PanO HMG swap (the stat profiles for A-Cav/Guijia are nearly identical anyways). LOVE the Guijia, even still it's a wonderful model. Really captured the Landmate look more than any of the other TAGs. It was recently replaced by Scarface as favorite, and now the Gecko is hands down the king of all TAGs.

CB is very hit and miss with it's TAGs, but the last few have all been wild hits for me.

Szalamandra is pretty damned ugly. If I ever were to proxy a TAG, it'd be that one.

Those Geckos though, those are amazing. If I hadn't just spent a ton of money in Japan, I'd probably preorder them. I think if I do eventually get them, I'd leave the sub arms off.

It is nice to finally see CB make a TAG that's actually aiming its gun.

It's different in the flesh, especially when you realise that it balances on those two tiny feet before it's been pinned to the base...

Marut, O-Yoroi, Lizard and the latest TAGs since Dragoes/Jotum are among my favourites.

I can agree with this

Well, that make the two of you wrong together then!

Of course opinions vary though, obviously, as for me the Guijia is one of the weakest T.A.G.s - go figure!

Well, I just ordered the Tohaa starter.

The game looks too good (and cheap) to NOT give it a chance.

Hopefully I can trick my friends into starting, if not... time to get new friends.

Playing: Droids (Legion), Starks (ASOIAF), BB2
Working on: Starks (ASOIAF), Twilight Kin (KoW). Droids (Legion)

I'd love to get hold of a Jotum's Multi HMG and see how it looks in the hands of a Gecko

Gathering the Informations.

Information just funneled down that the Neoterran "Bolts" will be available for a few months as a blister of 3.

I won't be posting when preorders go up until I've got my share.

This is good to know - and should help out a lot of PanO players.

Not to mention just making sense from a business perspective too!

The Bolts are going to be available in a blister but not for long.

I suppose that way they will be purchasable by the people who already have part of the boxset. After this point, people coming into the game can just buy the starter set.

Think it's most likely an effort to reduce the amount of different stock and consolidate (which I believe was a criticism from retailers), but at least there is a small 'fan service' to those existing customers that only want the new miniatures.

This is exactly why. When they released the Muyib HRL as a blister, then released the Muyib box which included it, they discontinued all of the individual blisters but left them as stockable SKUs for a few months to let people finish buying them without having to get doubles from the box.

They want to reduce the amount of SKUs, so they're boxing as much as they can. I'm sure when the Bolts blister is finally removed as a stockable SKU, so will the Hexa, Aquila Guard ans Swiss Guard from the box. Same with the Qapu Khalki box which was a pretty blatant effort to reduce SKUs - there wasn't a single new sculpt in it.

Keep forgetting how awesome I think the Szalamandra is.

Is a Gecko/Szalamandra/Riot Grrrl list something that could work?

Sounds like a good excuse to go for the newfangled 400pts format

...in that case I'd advise not to go multi-TAG/HI link straight away

Would have to be playing Vanilla Nomad to run all those, so no linking anyway.

So many games, so little time.

So many models, even less time.

Screw it, Netflix and chill.

Another example of how good CB are to their fans- especially when contrasted to certain large British mini companies.

Anyone interested in having large numbers of basic Bolts could also buy both the box -and- the blister. Sometimes you don't want the special weapons etc., just a linkteam of basics with a specialist (I keep finding myself attracted to Wildcat teams like that when I'm trying to get above one order group with Corregidor).

Infinity: Way, way better than 40K and more affordable to boot!

So, question is, when I have the money, should I get the Gecko box, or the NeoTerra box?

Get the Geckos first. Then when you have more money, get the NeoTerrans. And remember there is more to come this month... Although I hope the rumor about Tariq Mansuri on a 40mm base is not true.

If anything this month will be on a 40mm base is say it would be Neema.

Geckos are incredibly tempting. I need to get my hands on some TAGs in the near future.
Is Yu Jing supposed to be getting anything this month?
