I'm holding off on upgrading to 1.6.4 for just a week or so, in case any issues come up. You can edit your minecraft profile (or create a duplicate) to select Release 1.6.2 to connect to the server.

Dark I know ive been a pain in the ass and im sorry, so very sorry ive really been trying to improve my behaviour on eh server and I know everything ive done is my fault, all I want to say is what happened yesterday was a big mistake, I didn't tamper with anything, just used a mob farm that he hadn't a problem with me using.

in my defence of the ban (taken from my post quoting grundz);

"I was using your mob spawner, you saw me yesterday and didn't say I wasnt allowed

I was not modifying your setups

I didn't break them and again didn't change them just turned a redstone lever that you saw me do yesterday and you had said nothing

when I tried to turn it off I died and then lag took over (my wording of "tried to fix it" was bad, what I meant was I tried to turn it off)

but I guess thank you dark, and my pals on the server. please hand my stuff on to anvil or any members of the trarii and return the stuff in the resource chest to grundz (youll know its the right chest when you see a few stacks of diamonds)"

if using something that he had no problem with me using is worthy of a ban then sure ill go quietly but listen to me, what I said up in the quote is the truth. and you can see that. I didn't change anything and he had no problem with me using his mob farm yesterday.

But if this isn't enough to change your mind, this has been a great server and your doing us a great favour, thanks!

Sorry rkh66, you're still quite new to Dakka. We've had trouble with people signing up to Dakka just for the Minecraft server. Ask again in a month or two if you are still here, or if one of the current whitelisted Minecraft people can vouch for you I'll let you on.

What are the rules regarding PVP? Are you allowed to kill other players, raid and loot their settlements? Not that I typically do that, just want to know what I'm getting myself into.

I think the current rules are that you aren't allowed to take PvP actions without the permission of the other person.

This is not a PvP-friendly server, and griefing can get you banned from both the server and the forum.

Yep, primarily no PVP, but if two (or more) players consent to each other for some PVP battle then it's ok as long as both are in agreement about their own rules and what signifies when the PVP is over.

Aka organized, consented, and contained tournaments or something, not random maurauding.

Alfndrate posted a map of the Dakka Server's new map, and it has the locations of players displayed. Does this mean the servers been reset to v1.7? Could you whitelist me please?

Disclaimer: I know this is like my 3rd request, but you did tell me to nag.

Sorry for the confusion, the map is showing where people have reserved locations for their structures from the 1.6.4 world.

I've put those player markers there manually, the server isn't reset to 1.7.2 yet.

Don't worry I will whitelist you when it's up.
