No rules against secret storage areas. It's "No PVP" as in, don't go around attacking people. But PVP is on for if people do want to have a little consensual battle.

Sorry Da Stormlord, you're still quite new to Dakka. We've had trouble with people signing up to Dakka just for the Minecraft server. Ask again in a month or two if you are still here, or if one of the current whitelisted Minecraft people can vouch for you I'll let you on.

Ok. Thanks! My house is quite far from spawn so I normally spend several days there farming food and such, and it's just a place to temp store it until I can take it off to my place.

Dark, how about an Enderchest at spawn for these such scenarios?

So I've died about 3 times already before I have even really done anything.

A bit discouraged partly you have to travel so far to get beyond someone else's territory, before you can try and stake a claim.

However, I must say there are some truly awesome builds on this server. Really cool stuff.

Have a look around using Darkinnit's server map and find a place that you'd like to settle in. Make a note of the coordinates and then you can make your way there.

Did the server reset? I just looged on and it's a blank world... Please don't tell me I lost all my stuff...

Oops. Well we just found out what happens when the server's disk gets full. Sorry I've been too busy and forgot to keep an eye on it. Don't worry, I have backups - it's the backups that have filled the drive. I'll fix it when I get home.

I had to roll the server back by a day because the world wasn't being saved because the disk was full. I can only apologise. But hey, good thing I keep regular backups eh?

The Monster server is still on 1.0.9. I will update it "soon". (My definition of soon may differ).

Having trouble staying on the FTB server.

Guess I'll start on the vanilla server instead for the moment.

It's interesting- the FtB/Tekkit/Heavily Modded server is one that always gets huge amounts of people going on and messing around and building their amazing super-duper infinite item things, but whenever there's troubles with that one, or there's gonna be an update or world wipe, people flock back to the good ol' Vanilla server. And that's the server that has, honestly, the best builds on it. Certainly the biggest and longest-running builds- Absolutionist's unfinished citadel, the Temple of Terra, Grundz' Titan, my own Grey Mesa and Ma55terfett's... house. And lets not forget about Mondo's ever-prevalent monoliths.

Actually, speaking of mega builds- Dark, you ever gonna finish your castle?
