I also didn't cry. It felt more dramatically tragic to me than sad, and I didn't last long enough. It was only a few minutes before the epilogue played and we had randoms running around as if the whole world was gona be peaceful forever.

Ideon is pretty sweet, though I found the early part of the series kind of slow.
Like a certain other show, you need to see the last movie to get the actual ending though.
IMO watching the show is ok and the movies are better. The 2 movies make a lot of sense if you watch them without the TV show. It actually amazes me when compilation movies are that good and actually improve upon the original even if the show gets cancelled.

Hobby Goals and Resolution of 2017: Paint at least 95% of my collection (even if getting new items). Buy small items only at 70% complete.

To be fair, Asuka can be quite a female dog at times. Although that is due in part of her seeing her Mother kill herself in front of her, and thought the doll was Asuka.....

They made 3 berserk movies that cover the golden arc. you could always watch them they came out 1-2 years ago. (note: they actually follow the Manga)

Well thats the reason that Asuka and shinji are both pilots. A) Both of their Mothers were absorbed into their suits (though only a fraction of Asuka's mother's mind was transferred in which is why she went crazy). And that why she was happy in End of Eva because she finally figured out that her mother was always with her in unit 2... literally.
