I'm actually surprised. They ended the anime exactly along the lines of the manga (obviously this isn't the end of the story) but I prefer this to some crappy hack job ending. They've announced the release of OVA's as of now, but I wouldn't be surprised if more seasons appeared. The series did well over all, and they ended at the part of the story where the series just starts getting better.

It would be rather stupid for them to not do more. So unless outside forces conspire against them it should happen.
Same thing with Girls Und Panzer. You'd have to be insane not to take advantage of good show material.

Cato Sicarius, after force feeding Captain Ventris a copy of the Codex Astartes for having the audacity to play Deathwatch, chokes to death on his own D-baggery after finding Calgar assembling his new Eldar army.

Eh, I don't see Girls und Panzer needing another season; it told its story, and doesn't really have another to tell, as far as I know. Although I think they're getting a movie? Someone's getting a movie, at least.
I'm not as familiar with the various manga storylines as I should be, so maybe there's something I'm missing.

There are 50 chapters of AOT currently correct? An the anime covers like 42 chapters? I heard that if it does get a new season it wont be until next year since they have to wait for more of the manga. But, they could do OVA's for the remaining chapters. Which would be nice, since I absolutely despise cliffhanger endings. I don't find them thrilling and it doesn't make me want to watch the next part any more lol Cliffhangers are more cliche and annoying than anything else

Sure, they wrapped that story up. But you'd be insane not to get another story out of it.

True, but dragging the story out can be bad, too.
I'm not saying that it shouldn't be done, I'm just saying that they shouldn't do it unless the story is different enough from the first season to not be a rehash, which, considering the format of the anime, could be a problem.
More of the Same might be fun, but it would also be repetitive, is all.

I have 13 box sets and one DVD, most sourced through Amazon. The only one I bought new at a Con is my copy of the Eva Platinum box set, and I worked for that guy for 6-7 hours to drop the price from $100 to $30. As of now I have maybe two other box sets on my "buy" list.... belay my last. Three. All through Amazon (they're Kaze no Stigma, $18 courtesy of Funimation's S.A.V.E program, Claymore. $30 and the BIG ticket item the Complete Spice and Wolf blue ray DVD combo pack at $36)
I am less inclined to buy DVDs for the most part. I used to do it more or less as penance for all the downloading I do, but I support the industry via crunchy roll, so I feel a bit less guilty

Wait Stardust Memories had a movie? How odd, the series was already pretty short. I really enjoyed Stardust Memories, shame it had a bad movie
Yeah. Its called the Last Blitz of Zeon. It also goes by another name that I cannot recall at that moment. If you haven't watched the series it literally makes no sense.
Onto the topic of AoT. The anime covers 34 chapters exactly and changes almost nothing. There are a few additions in the anime, but its not too much. The rage mode Eren goes on in episode 25 was all brand new as well. Her climbing up the wall and everything after is literally straight from the manga. You could probably read chapters 35 to 49 and you would be ok. I really do hope it gets another anime adaptation in about a year that way the manga is another 12 chapters ahead and there will probably be enough for another 20 or so episodes. The problem is after that because the manga is set to run about 90 chapters.

Ahhh ok, I found it while fishing around for any Gundam OVA, inbetween season shorts, and compilations.
I found a little short for 08th MS that I had never seen before. It is pretty awesome! But no sub or dub exists of it, so you'll have to settle for watching it in Japanese. Well worth it in my opinion.
I completely agree with you although I haven't seen the L-Gaim ones because L-Gaim was so boring to me. I got tired of all the sillyness.
Let's not talk about the 0083 movie. That was one of the worst pieces of garbage ever along with the SEED ones.
L-Gaim gets a lot less silly around halfway through; most of the silliness drops around the time they team up with Semuj, and that part resembles the good parts of similar Gundam series, and even concludes properly which other good series fail to do.
I was expecting it to be so-so, just killing an hour, turns out it was fairly brutal and great so far, I liked how in the first season it was fair game for anyone to be eaten at any time, now it seems the plot armor is up :(

Don't worry. Not getting eaten generally means your too good to get eaten. It seems to be a little bit of survival of the fittest. Why is Mikasa and Levi alive? Their better than everyone else.

Yeah it was released with the Blu-Ray release of 08th MS Team. It came out earlier this year and its pretty awesome, but I wish it was subbed although it doesn't really appear to require any since not much happens except for some action.

I might have to give it another shot, but all the silliness really bugs me. Maybe 4 years later I'll be able to put up with it. xD

Seed wasn't so bad...Destiny on the other hand...ugh.
I was referring to the SEED compilation movies. Those are just bad. The Destiny movies actually improved the show IMO though.
