Spoiler:
Koko is a little too deredere to be a tsundere, she has some hints of being a bit yandere at times, but a bit milder then "I will KILL YOU" but still a few cokes short of a six pack if you get my meaning.
The tea club girls just like to have a good time, I wouldn't say they fit any where on the "dere" scale.
but yeah, it's a trip. Of pure happiness.
Edit: WOOOO! Finally found the full track for Golden Time's EP Sweet and Sweet Cherry

I would say that going from meeting to "healthy" relationship in only 7 episodes is probably some kind of record for Japanese animes, but I'm fairly certain her alluding to Romeo and Juliet poisoning each other makes this anything but healthy.
The Vicki Mendoza diagonal comes to mind. I truly hope Banri consulted the graph.
Nice find on the opening!

I was in love with Haman, but now its Mineva Zabi. Sorry Haman.
Huge Gundam fanatic here.
Recently I watched the first two installments of "Murdock Scramble." A very dark, cyberpunk story.
Also watched Evangelion 3.0. Interesting and confusing but beautifully made.
Also, check out my history blog: Minimum Wage Historian, a fun place to check out history that often falls between the couch cushions.
So today I finished watching IS2. I gotta say, I feel it's being a bit too much fanservice based, never thought to say this, I admit, especially after The Kitsune Sexy Shrine Maiden... Now that was some nice fanservice, but still, not enough PEW PEW.
Non Non Biyori, like always, remains my Monday happiness booster. This is just so GOOD! I feel so bummed every time this shows up announcing the end, and at the same time happy because it's such an happy song.

I felt like the last IS2 ep wasn't super heavy on the fan service button, but they have been leaning on said button a gak ton more this season then IS1. Which is a bit of a pity I think, as I liked the actual plot quite a lot in IS1.
Also Ichika is officially so dense light particles can't escape him.
In other news Ars Nova has taught me something today. Just because it's a sentient AI has a dakimakura doesn't make said dakimakura less creepy.

Yes, the plot was pretty light but at the same time good and I really wanted to see more of it.
Spoiler:
That dialogue between Chifuyu and Tabane foreshadowed some kind of big plan but I haven't seen anything related to this yet. Unless the Phantom Task is controlled by Tabane: Now THAT would be awesome
Also Ichika is officially so dense light particles can't escape him.
It's ridiculous, Laura constantly tells him about the bride thing, and not even THAT makes him understand. It's just getting stupid now
Something that's pretty ridiculous too is the "punishment" the girls do this season! Seriously, a kendo sword was bad and dangerous enough, here they already used machine guns, real swords, the mechs, the mech's weapons, it went from funny to "WTF ARE THEY DOING?!".
Oh well, in conclusion, DYNAMITE!

If you think that is bad
Spoiler:
In the LN, all the girls are trapped in a computer world (trying to kill a virus that infected the school) and Ichika needs to go in and save them. Unfortunately (for him), all the girls (besides Houki really ) are having sex fantasies about him (with a virus clone) and he has to interrupt the fantasy and kill the "virus" form of himself. But guess who doesn't think that maybe these chicks have some serious feelings for him .
Ichika's density gets so bad that even black holes are put to shame.

That is fairly accurate to the story though, but it does make you wonder about their psychological faculties (they are hot, soooo it makes up for it....maybe).

The funny thing about harem animes is that one of the most common theories that pops up is that the protagonists aren't heterosexual, but rather homosexual or asexual, or some other -sexual that involves them not being interested in women.
The problem is, that might explain the disinterest in a romantic relationship, but it doesn't explain Ichika's total and complete inability to understand that people have feelings for him. I mean, for much of the first season, you could say he was feigning ignorance, but with the second season, with the ante being upped considerably, it seems to be less feigned and more straight up ignorance.
Which begs the question, how could someone be so oblivious to these things going on around him?
There are ways, but my theory still is that Ichika is aware that he's in a TV show, and understands the tropes therein, and is trying to maintain the status quo, and the show itself is a sentient entity, putting pressure on the characters to resolve the situation. The show introduced Blue Hair to push the issue, and also induced the females to use more deadly weapons in their pursuits.

Because its a cartoon and the rule of shipping.
Reason I'm not a big fan of Harem manga/anime (save Suzuka which I liked a lot because while the male lead had an idiot ball most of the time he wasn't obliviously stupid).

It's obvious. Ichika is either a Robot, a rowboat, or Sheldon Cooper.

Strangely enough...it actually fits. Everyone in the room (if you look carefully in the end all the other Councillors are military commanders as well) are ZAFT commanders, and with Lacus wearing black...all I can say is "All Hail Lacus!" ala "All Hail Lelouch!"
BTW, the translation of the title (via google translate) is 'Koutei Rakusu'...Emperor Lacus

Eh. Like it's any different from any other anime with a tsundere in it. Sure Takao has cruise missiles but compared to some of the insane females and their poor objects of affection/targets she's positively underarmed.

My favorite part was when Takao was dreaming and going on about letting Gunzou "look at her engines". I guess to a battleship that is a very personal area.

Nah, that is more like a doctor/surgeon to her. I think the whole "dream man being a strong captain" thing works best. If you think about it, wouldn't a battleship want, more than anything, someone who could utilize them efficiently and increase their battle potential. A strong captain will do that.
Side Note: I just remembered a scene from the last ep of Ars Nova that looked strangely like Hyuga was humping Iona. It was fairly awkward to watch (especially the look on Iona's face).

and I'm just saying a real mech knows how to... tune an engine if you know what I mean.
....oh goddess... the thought of battleships being sentient, and presenting as female makes conversations with buddies of mine who actually work on naval engines 1000% creepier.

Yes... let me just say I laughed out loud when I read an hentai doujin related to that... "torpedos", "engine room", "breach" among other naval key-words were used several times, and this together with the other users' comments... oh boy, I cried with so much laughter.
My favorite quote shall remain: "We must thrust it in more. FOR SCIENCE!!!!"
