So I just went to see Patema Inverted, excellent movie, easily on par with some of my favorite anime movies like The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and Voices of a Distant Star, fun characters, engaging story and sound track, all wrapped around some excellent plot twists. I even got to see it in a theater! One of the local art houses shows new anime films from time to time.

Whelp, saw a bit more of Gosick since I had enormous train ride today. Ok, the Leviathan case was good, I really enjoyed that one and it seems the plot thickened thanks to it.
BUT
Nichijou is turning into such a positive masterpiece of positiveness. Just feel the power of this opening.
Never before have I heard an opening with the lyrics "What time is it?!" / "It's time to yodel!"
And this scene. Oh man, this scene I had to contain myself while on the train. (A bit of an explanation: The blue-haired girl has some very good drawing skills. She draws Yaoi. Not only that, I think she draws the boy she likes in it too. She's ashamed of that and doesn't want anyone to see the drawings)

Ah. nichijou is truly a miracle of the universe. I have the whole series on DVD and I watched it with my sisters. I think you can love it, no matter who you are.
I also struggle not to laugh through the opening. The song is so silly.

You've hit the upturn! From there on it gets better and better. IMO, So good watchin's if you decide to press on!
Might have to also give the other a look. Looks pretty good, Im honestly surprised she didn't Suplex anyone given how much it comes up in Anime!

Well, it ended. It really ended for real. Before I had the OVA, now there's... nothing. DAMN IT, I missed this show, I really did and it was a glorious 27 mns of my life but still, it ended Ah hell, at least I had more GLORIOUS SATSUKI time!!

I can't believe the theory the academy was a gigantic mech was right. I remember reading about it with a picture showing where it's arms and head were when it was like. the 4th episode or something. It was actually correct

About 10 episodes from being done with all 8 'seasons' of Naruto available on amazon prime. I like it. I like Naruto's development over time, even though he still stays a knucklehead through out the first series, he does grow quite a bit for the time frame one assumes is covered. The ridiculous backstory frontloading tapers off after a point and the middle of the series after they get rid of a certain annoying "avenger"(good riddance! what an annoying character!) is my favorite. Most of the random/monster of the week once-off episodes or mini-arcs are rather fun.
Gonna have to find something else to watch soon I guess.
