I don't know if it has already been mentioned, and I believe it was mentioned in another thread, but. . . Assassin's Creed. If done right, it could be one of the best movies ever.

I always get odd looks when I say that I want to see a Bioshock movie (and I mean not a spinoff, I mean true-to-the-story-it's-just-like-the-game-live-action movie) done as a psychological horror film with a really good director.

I agree with the Ravenor, or even Eisenhorn would make good films. Seconding the Assassins Creed and GG films and miniseries as well. Could possibly see Johnny Depp as Ven as well, just seems to have the right build.

I enjoyed watching The Wire recently and it left me pondering that the political aspects of Gotham's police department (all the corruption etc) would make for great viewing.

This would form the backdrop for a major investigation each season that focuses on one of the Batman villains (e.g. a Zodiac style Riddler, Anarchy provoking riots, Victor Zzaz as a serial killer), with Batman himself an elusive figure, who is barely mentioned or seen.

The show would start at the beginning of Gordon's career (in a similar way to Batman Begins) and follow his rise through the ranks to Commissioner.

That's supposidly on it's way; The Irrational people want it to happen, but they are having problems figuring out what to do with it (Quoteth Ken Levine: "Bioshock is a game that is about walking around shooting people. That's not a movie!"

Speaking of movies, I rather liked Thor, and agree that both Thor and Loki's actors did an outstanding job.

I'm sorry but I just cant see Depp as a good Ven...Ven's character is really stone faced and the only things I've seen Johnny Depp in he's just too flamboyant...

Wait! don't stop reading this or you won't hear the plottwist about how Bruce Willis is actually a dragon!

you forgot to mention that a nucular explosion happens but they survive becasue they are in space and the dragon should be voiced by samuel jackson
