@Anvils Hammer

Thanks for the heads up. I'll just put in my normal order for now for some of those bionic legs, more bionic arms, and a couple of weapons

I've been meaning to ask, does anyone know if the ammo belt is fixed to the SAW, or can I replace it with a drum?

I was looking at ordering a 5-man squad, but he legs options are "robed" or "none". Is this what's going to be updated soon? I'd like some non-robed legs, but I'm not interested in the bionic ones.

I have the SAW, the ammo belt is in three peices, none of which come attached to the gun (so you could replace it with a drum) the problem might be that the arms are fixed to the gun and the part of the ammo belt that drapes over the arm is sculted to it, with some scraping and GS you could fix this though.

I personally think the belt looks great! its the first "heavy machine gun" I've had in my collection that has an ammo belt and looks like it has enough ammo

Indeed! Since the Knights of Blood are all close combat, I think I'll use those to replace bolt pistols on my more elite rank and file. (Most of the army.) I think those, plus Chain Glaives to all my assault troopers would cause enough fear, hm?

Wish I could test one out though, it's okay, it's just this paycheck isn't clearing fast enough.

Ok I hope i dont miss any posts -

@Commander Cain, HulkSmash - thanks!

@HAZZER - Im afraid not, there is only so much I can add to "the list" before the amount of stuff on it gets ridiculous - Its already a years full time modelling work!

@Dmyze - thanks for answering Barzams question for me!

@Kronk - the preview photos and leg options will be restored later today, the first WIP sculpts are sitting on my desk at the moment.

@SickSix - Yes. I will probably withdraw the medieval helmet and replace it with the updated full face grill helmet.

@Stormsung - Chain Glaives are pretty fear inspiring I think...

Back to the modelling desk I go - these new legs wont build themselves!

As promised some preview photos -

Here are the first assembled (but not completed) new legs - Praetorian on the left and Medieval on the right. The middle pair is one of the old style medieval legs for comparison.

Apart from the general improvement in quality and proportions allowed by 3D printed parts, Ive also scaled the legs slightly better (a bit bigger and thicker) and updated the designs.

I hope to release these first two sets on thursday.

What I can release now - Small "guard" scale bionic rifle arms! A set of 5 different pairs.

Cheers guys,

Joel

I do love your work, and I hope to get to order some bits soon!

What I think would be an interesting idea would be multi-part civilians and such - it's near impossible to get parts for them except in whole models.

I'm really glad you guys are finding some traction. Your work rate is pretty impressive, and I am pleased with your "Double Tap Twin Carbine".

I bought bits off you a while back and made my own, but it was labour intensive.

I used your Drum mags to make a Pre-heresy Combi-Bolter. Needless to say, I will be buying yours in future...

Your Arms are brilliant, without them my Pre-Heresy Morlocks would have looked awful - As it happens it looks like FW will be making them in the next 18months but mine are my own....

Cannot wait to get hold of some of those Bionic Legs for more Pre-Heresy Iron Hand goodness.

Can we see the two scales of the bionic legs with other models? I want to see how reasonable these parts are for orks... Possibly as arms and/or legs. (human leg may work for an ork arm)

Quick question then, what are you going to do with the Medieval helmets you've already created?

I guess a suggestion would be, that if you are just going to melt them down or throw them away; use them as quality samples to first-time customers, etc.

Hi Everyone! thanks for the feedback/kind words.

@BlapBlapBlap - I like to do civilian/militia parts at some point but I wont have a chance any time soon im afraid.

@HAZZER - Yes, overlapping plate armour is a classic renaissance style, see here for example -
http://www.armouronline.com/product/7/renaissance_etch_ornate.html

So that will be the "renaissance" style armour when I get round to it.

@mwnciboo - Thanks for posting the photos - great use of the large bionics on that terminator!

@nkelsch - Yes I will try and get a scale comparison photo up at some point soon. - A medium scale leg is just over 15mm long from the top of the hip joint to the ankle where you would attache a hand.
Id not thought of using them for arms! Ill mention that in the description.

@Stormsung an Commander Cain - You're right, no point in withdrawing it from sale, Ill just have a few extra helmet options!

Cheers,

Joel

I really like the new medieval legs, and am very much looking forward to the full face grill helmets, they will be perfect for pre heresy stuff. In fact, all we need now is the backpacks, as I don't like the ones you currently sell much, I think they look a bit strange. But that's just my opinion, I guess new backpacks aren't high on your priority list, setting as you are doing a new range after all!

the new legs do look much better proportioned, especially the Praetorian legs. I wish I had a project I could use those Praetorian legs on. Well,as soon as they're up and I'm able to, I'll be placing an order for some medieval legs and some weapons.

This gives me some really high hopes for the high-tech legs. Can't wait to see them!

I'm also a little curious, have you ever considered doing something like a bio-mechanical armor?

Those new legs are nice! The last two are my personal favorites. The separate knee pads are a cool detail. Don't mean to be a pest, but do you have a timeframe on the truescale versions of those legs?

damn il order those legs once the big ones are done so i can use them on my pre heresy termies also just a quick question (or rather a silly request ) when you are gone make some human weapons will just make them out of random ideas and such since i have kind of allways wanted to make a kill team based on dead space but their weapons aint cheap atleast when i make my favorite weapon the pulse rifle so basicly the question is will you base some of the human weapons on games? (with certin changes of course to not make leagel issues since i aint sure what the rules cover )

i am just the wrong wargamer in the wrong place at the wrong time as allways so blame creed

15000 gak (its not point value its how many models i have lying around in bitz )

Hi Joel,

I just went to order some medieval arms and chainglaives using your melee arms selection:
http://www.anvilindustry.co.uk/index.php?route=product/product&path=77&product_id=158

I noticed you did not have Autoscythes as a selection for the left hand. Could you add those?

Hi Everyone - Thanks for the feedback!!

@ziiza1300 - Im planning to update the Turbine power pack and also do a "Tech" option at some point before April.

@Barzam - Im not sure what you mean by bio-mechanical armour? but I doubt it in the near future, Ive got a few more leg sets planned for the Steam Lords but after that im switching to human infantry and armour/aircraft.

@Guildsman - Nope Im afraid there is no timeframe at all, Its simply not possible to estimate as Ill only make a deadline and miss it!

@Icesword - looking forward to the new stuff and I promise Ill get the current batch moulded up soon! Ive not forgotten!

@Emperor Bacon - Any larger legs may well be a while away, I cant say with any certainly what I will get round to or when. I cant copy weapons from games, and wouldnt want to, Ive got my own plans for the smaller guns!

@Stormsung - Yep Ive added left handed Auto-Scythes for you.

@Barzam and Jehan-Reznor - The images are uploaded correctly now, please check and if you want alter your orders, email me and I can sort it out.

NEW LEGS!!! A bit behind schedule but now ready to order, aiming to ship out Tuesday 29th.

Both leg sets are available as Static and Running sets of 5, with the kneeling legs sold individually.

Medieval-

Praetorian -

Some assembled examples -
