Here's my completed Trench Fighter team. Click to zoom.

I love how they turned out. Great parts, Joel. I placed an order for parts for the rest of the team last Friday.

Nice work, Barzam!!

Will be interesting to see if 8th edition make certain parts in sudden, extremely high demand. I'm sure Anvil will be ready to supply

Barzam those look great! Is the one guy holding a hatchet and spiked club?

More of a club with jagged pieces of metal sticking out of it, but yes.

Thanks guys, they were fun to make and I'm looking forward to the next batch.

Barzam - ah, I see.. Are you doing a full army of these guys?

Anvil - Any chance we could see lasguns that resemble the old school RT era models? The super long barrel and smaller receiver area are kind of iconic and would fit superbly with a kill team I am wanting to do

That's something I was thinking of too- that and the RT-era guardsman look, with helmets, shades, and padded-esque armor. Would be pretty classic!

Not a full army. Just enough for Shadow War: Armageddon. In fact, I got the Sergeant for my kill team finished today.

Now, this isn't pure Anvil bits. The head, right hand, pistol, sword, and shoulder pads are Anvil, the torso, legs, and arms are Mad Robot. I was concerned there might be some fit issues, but everything fit together seamlessly.

I was thinking of taking some Black Widow carbines to my minis with some mags for them, but I've seen that the only mags you got at the Exo-Lord Armoury are are the ones that show the bullets inside, wich are different from the mags that have the carbines. Are there another mags around that could fit those carbines? And if not, will there be similar mags for the "Private Military Contractors" update?

My friend might do a Steel Legion army using the Regiments parts.

I might have to do some Death Korp.

Does anybody know if the Medieval torsos look good with the short coat legs? I'm thinking of buying a test squad of Siege Engineers.

@Barzam - They look great. We are about to share the image on our blog, hope thats cool with you.

Thanks for the example with Mad Robot Parts, thats pretty cool!

@RiTides - we stand ready at the forge to make whatever is needed

@Mlaw - I am planning some arms with sniper versions of the Trench Phase Carbine at some point, but I dont know how much they will resemble the RT models.

@GloomyFenix - Yeah the Black Widow has its own mag design, as its a newer product. A lot of the older Exo-Lord products seriously need new versions.
A full revamp of the range is planned for later this year, at which point some new mags will appear.

@NivlacSupreme - I am confident you will not be disappointed, thanks for your support! We will get your order shipped out asap.

Thanks all!

Feel free to use the pics, Joel. I actually finished the whole team, including the unarmored guys. If you want to use pics of them as well, feel free.

This can help to give you an idea I find it very helpful when planning.

Just planned out the standard foot soldier of my army. If you did cavalry you'd probably have all of my money already. I did notice that the planner doesn't have a shoulder pad option.

Merc heads look really good, I will be picking some up for sure.

Can we expect to see modern melee weapons too? Things like baseball bats, tire irons, fire axes etc you'd have a viable post apocalyptic set up to make these kits even more versatile.

Cheers

The Contractor release is supposed to have some Russian style gear, right? Can I make a request for a Russian MVD style helmet with ballistic mask?

I'd buy a baseball bat to give to a Death Korp lieutenant.

That sounds hilarious.

Just got my order!

These guys are good. Other than a grenade launcher I ordered (I got a modern one instead; already emailed and sorted) they're all there and great quality.

Post apoc would make a nice sub-range of its own, for gangers and such.

I want to know where the MP5 submachineguns are at!

Morning All,

@NivlacSupreme - Cavalry of various kinds are planned for later this year.

Thanks for the photo, looks great!

@Theyredeaddave - Yeah Ill be doing a set of "modern melee weapons" at some point. Probably with the Jungle fighters, which is the follow up wave planned after the first lot of PMC stuff.

@Barzam - I dont think it would look that different to existing ballistic visor helmet would it? I am going to upate that sprue slightly to include one with the metal face shield and visor slit.

@Bull0 - The MP5 style weapons are already sculpted and ready to print this week

Hello Anvils,

Just a few words to thank you for your great bits, I ordered already twice, mostly guns accessories, they all look fantastic!

I will be waiting for your next releases before placing a new one, truly looking forward to it! when can we expect the jungle fighters & PMC to be out?

I am working on a few diorama project which involve a tremendous amount of different sprues from all kinds of manufacturers, including GW, FW, Anvil, Victoria Minuature, Madrobot and a few others.

Long story short, when trying to mix your fatigue legs with other parts, I noticed that they were a little smaller than the ones from GW for instance. Is it the same for your chests / arms / heads?

I have been looking all over the internet to try and find a complete guide of the different bits/minis producers to answer my questions, without any luck...

Once again, thank you for everything and I wish you a wonderful day!

Ps: truly sorry if this is a typically raised question, but I have done tons of research and can't seem to find the answer...

What from GW are you comparing it to? Cadians, Catachans, Admech, Stormtroopers, Scouts? Also make sure you're not ordering their Afterlife products to mix with GW.. they are indicated on the website as not being heroic 28... so they won't match.

Cadian & catachan indeed.

I ended up working only with Madrobot/victoria/anvil bits since they were not entirely compatible with the GW products.

Anyway, thanks for the head's up!
