I thought I'd quickly copy across the updates so far from Anvil as they're very busy (I hope they don't mind). It's got nothing to do with my vested interest in getting those cyberhounds unlocked

Standard Bearer Render

"She will be supplied with your choice of a few different banners which are not yet fully designed. Ifyou want a plainer banner for your choice of transfer or painted logo, that will be an option."

Sci Fi Torso

"All these Sci-Fi components are free unlocks, not stretch goals, so these are available as options already. Any components can be mix/matched with others, so you will be able to select for example, Sci-Fi Torso and Helmet, with Renaissance Shoulder Pads and Arquebus, to create the exact look you are going for."

Robes & Tabards
"We are closing in on the £30k stretch goal - Torsos and legs with Robes and Tabards!

We will be sculpting:
- At least three sprues of hooded heads of various styles,
- A sprue of partially robed torsos (shown in the renders below),
- Five poses of Robed legs
- Five poses of Tabard legs.

Please Note that the parts shown here are Work in Progress, not final sculpts, so are a bit rough in places."

"The photo above shows the WIP sci-fi torso with no power plant. The more medieval/fantasy style torsos, including the Robed torso shown below, are designed to work well with no power plant, for use in fantasy systems. The armour plate with the downward point acts as the positioning/attachment system for all the power plants."

Really like the look of the Sci-fi and tabard versions.

While I applaud the effort, GW is moving towards true scale - so are these ladies a bit bigger than current ones or roughly the same size as the current?

I thought 'true scale' was just a term we used to denote that Space Marines are supposed to be bonkers enormous, but are never actually printed that way?

I'm glad I have a well paying job because I feel like I'm going to end up giving Anvil a pretty good chuck of my pay.

But hey, a KS by a good company for a really nice product, it's tough to say no to that.

I prefer to buy from miniature manufacturers that *don't* support the overthrow of democracy.

Another update! Mini people and the hounds! I'm surprised by the addition of the mini robots but it's a welcome characterful one and I love the hounds but a more cyber-like tail would be nice, it seems a bit too fluffy for the rest of the render IMHO.

"Next up our bonus £31k stretch goal, Chris has been working on a little side project. These Squire Automata are fantastic as models to provide your characters with some battlefield assistance - At around 2/3 the size of a typical Daughter they are not going to be doing any serious fighting, but can carry a helmet or weapon which might come in handy! Price to be confirmed soon."

I like the shield-type backpack, it's different and there's plenty of scope to paint the bulb-like bits either as gems, traditional lights or even add some lightning type effects. They're going to be updating again with some 3-D prints so I'm looking forward to seeing those

Im in, I really like the design of the basic "sisters".

With the galaxy as large as it is the odds of the average guardsmen seeing and fighting a marine or MEQ are relatively slim. Unfortunately the guardsmen in your (and anyone else who plays IG's) army are the REALLY, REALLY LUCKY ones that fight marines ALL the time...

Hello Everyone, Thanks for all feedback!

@Warspawned - Thanks very much for copying across updates. Yes I have been busy!

Not long till the hounds now, we did some 3D prints of them today and will get some photos early next week.

There will be a robotic tail option as well as the feather tail.

@Frozen Ocean - We've not gotten around to sculpting her yet. I am not sure if we will get a chance during the project run, but if not she will certainly appear in future.

@Uriels Flame - The Scale image is there ( thanks smokestack!). We are trying to get a balance - in scale with our existing regiments range, but also suitable for use along side other ranges. The Escher for example, if you removed her high heels, would stand about the same height as our Daughter example model.
Some of our Character models are deliberately a little taller than rank and file, which makes sense and helps them fit in with other games better.

We have just put up another huge update on the KS page.

More updates next week.

Very impressed with the Abbess. The render made her look fairly chunky, so I was wondering how the resin version would turn out. The lightning mage is very cool too and I think the crossbows could be one of the best, yet most unsung bits of the KS so far.

I'm incredibly intrigued by the bionic ferret mention!

Where was a bionic ferret mentioned?

What's the deal with the Abbess' dog? Is that going to come with her?

Bionic ferrets?

Regimental goats and wolfhounds please!

I am looking forward to the characters and the Sci fi parts. The Abbess would be a nice 40k 2nd Ed St Praxedes.

Damn it! My pledge is getting bigger and bigger. I'm going to have to auction off my clutter at this rate - which probably isn't a bad thing to be fair.

Bionic ferrets? I want one.
