I love those huge skulls. They look awesome. I think painted up and well weathered, their slightly whimsical feel would actually make them scarier.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

Check out EM4's "robots" for more Terminator style figures. only $2.50 USD each! They were sculpted by Mark Copplestone and mix well with the "Copplestone Castings" terminators shown earlier in this thread. Combined the two lines give a pretty wide range of sculpts.
http://www.em4miniatures.com/acatalog/ROBOTS.html
Two of the 5 sculpts avaialble.

Reaper also has a set of 4 (not-terminator) "Cyber Reavers" at the same pricepoint!
http://www.reapermini.com/Miniatures/robot/latest/50097
Mostly monopose, though 3 of the four do have at least one separate arm.

It's a cool model, but I'd use that for a Tz Daemon Prince (after adding wings) before I'd think C'tan shard.

Blue wang and all, I think we need to concider Dr. Manhattan as a possible C'tan or the basis on a conversion.

Raising from it's ancient slumber, this thread returns to conquer it's old empire. I love so much stuff from this thread, some really great designs in it. Now that I have a necrom army (waiting patiently to be built) I just may have to add a bunch of sexy lewts to it too ; p Sadly some of the links have died but that's to be expected.

Dr Manhattan could be converted up nicely as a C'tan.

Yeah I definitely appreciate the consolidated information. Answering a 2 year old question is pretty pointless, but adding to an information store is always good imo, rather than multiple threads.

Possible - how does Dr. Manhattan, compare with the GW C'tan as far as size?

Well, yes, but as this is a thread for resources, making a new thread would be pretty stupid, as to be able to keep track of all of the information it would mean having to consolidate everything from this thread just to stick it into that one.
I really hope mods keep threads like these open. Makes it a lot easier to find stuff rather than having to dig through multiple different threads.

This particular model is about 3 and 1/4 inches tall, which makes it about 80mm tall. The smallest C'Tan model (Transcendent) that GW makes is about 60mm tall and the largest (Nightbringer) is about 90mm. I do check before I post possible C'Tan models, though I recognize not everyone may be as careful.

Interesting thread. There was a similar "knock off" thread yesterday in which the op was berated, a mod edited it, then it was locked. curious how presentation can effect peoples' response/perception.
