Wow that is a big and mean looking tank.

I've never been a huge fan of British tank design, but I could see myself getting one of these.

Also, I'm torn on the main gun. Part of me wants it smaller to make it more reasonable, and part of me loves it.

What really bugs me is that if this was a "real" tank, you would have a hard time fitting a commander, a gunner, and a loader or loading mechanism into that turret with the size of that cannon. But that's because the Matilda its based on had a much smaller gun and you would have more space in the turret.

Honestly its up to you guys. I like the look of the tank, it just bugs me because I read far too much about tank design for it to be healthy. Its already massively improved compared to its main competition, so I could forgive the weird turret, or possibly even pick up another turret type and mount your excellent looking weapons on it.

I love that your going for close to a Matilda in appearance.

As a leman Russ sized tank I don't think I would buy it. If it was more in scale with the actual Matilda (see below) I would find it difficult not to pick one or two up.

I'm also not a fan of the giant bolts n washers on the skirt, but I don't know if it's just the pic making them look massive to me.

I second the idea for a sci fi Bren gun carrier, and hope that you make some Bren gun arms and separate Bren guns soon.

I personally love the tank as well, but the side looks a little bland. It's understandable that you want to follow the source Metilda tank design closely, but from a fantasy model perspective, the giant bolts on an otherwise smooth surface just looks plain.

Where is the "delicious" gif when you need it?

Also, yay! for the Adepticon standard bearer being released in resin (if only briefly). Thanks for making that happen, Vic!

I normally reserve it for the autrocities committed by Raging Heroes, but in this case..

Hello, I am so excited to reveal the long awaited, first regiments of the Arcadian Guard. The fully modular 10 Woman and 10 Man Arcadian Rifle squads.
It has been a huge challenge creating modular female troops. I am very happy with the results. The men and women all have the same uniforms and gear. These two squads are designed to mix flawlessly, giving collectors, for the first time, the flexibility to create mixed Guard forces.
These will be shipping in May / June 2014, on a first come first served basis.
Cheers, Vhttp://victoriaminiatures.highwire.com/products/arcadian-guard?pagesize=12

I just noticed that the men have a new torso.

if you look at their chest, you can see some added rivets or buttons and the like.

Not sure if the resin ones were always this way but the metal ones I have are definitely different

Is it likely that we will see HAZOP gas mask versions of the Arcadians? I would buy classic Cadian styled respirator heads in the dozens

Also, another vote for a tank based on the universal carrier- love that little vehicle!

I also preordered a color sergeant. Vic is AWESOME!

Just finished another 30 Cadians. Gonna ebay them and another 50 or so guardsmen and order these to replace them.

( now watch the new IG codex has all guardsmen in power armor centurion like exo suits!).

Er, 100 of the limited edition model (in resin, I don't know about metal, but I think there will be metal in addition to the resin) as well as a limited number of the squads (unknown quantity).

Automatically Appended Next Post:
They are also gonna be on the Secret Weapon Minis booth apparently.
