Oh happy day. Time to start saving.
Gives me to start saving up for female borderworld rangers for my not-tanith army!
On a side not, got a bunch of unassembled Arcadians in a trade, and they are som eof the best looking minis I have seen in a while!
Shhh, dont remind her. I need to have my wallet recover from my last order of Not-Tanith I put in to her. Her putting out female border world rangers would kill it and its on life support now!!

Re; Tank questions, the prototype shown at Adepticon was very well received, I am planning to get it released this year. Currently we need to do a few revisions and reprint some of the bits. Its a big project and I am making sure that the quality is as high as possible. This will take a few months and I'll keep you posted on the progress.
I hope to get the bikes released this year too.
Cheers, V

I've had to stop myself from pulling the trigger on the Arcadians so many times now it hurts. I have the 2014 Adepticon model and its only a matter of time till I break down and buy some. The standard bearer alone was excellent and every time someone sees one of Vic's heads on one of my models I get asked where they're from. The character her figures have always sets them a step higher. I don't know how to describe it really, they just have a unique feel that's really only matched by FW.
Even if I don't play 40k anymore, I love the models so much and I like to think it was partly due to my begging that they got released
One day Vic, when I have a large sum of money saved up, you'll probably see a stupid order for them. Its just a matter of me saving up the money and not doing something stupid like crashing my car to do it.

About Matilda. rear sprocket wheels please
The guides on the track are on the outside. The sprocket should be in the center.
Or it could use a design similar to an old T-34, where the sprockets were also not visible.

The 'socket' driving wheels on T-34 is possible due to the accompanying track designs, that is track teeth are placed in the track center rather than the rim.
Unless Matilda uses double roadwheels, cogwheel sprockets are still needed to move the vehicle around.

Cogwheel sprockets also make assembly of the model much more finicky. Build one forgeworld Wartrakk and it is easy to suspend belief versus,"today I will build a Stormlord, or clean and assemble one set of Wartrakk track." Perhaps people buying a Victilda would be better model builders than the average LRBT purchaser but they shouldn't need to be a better model builder.
Victilda! Feel free to use!

I can't understand a word you're saying, meow. I mean meow, speak meow properly. Meow.
Also, the front and rear wheels are barely visible, to demand one to be turned into a sprocket, that's visible for just a few millimetres is something a rivet counter would complain about.
I wonder though, seeing as the Matilda has two functional hatches up top, will there also be a crew coming?

rather than going for s strictly accurate sprocket wheel
which would mean making the build a pain for many
it would be fairly trivial (probably) to print a hybrid part sprocket based on the Sherman (easily replaceable type) using the matilda tooth setup you glued on to the existing wheel after putting everything else together
which should solve this issue for those that care
(or they could even do one themselves out of plasticard, a leather workers hole punch should make nipping out part circles easy enough)

Hello,
I am back from Adepticon, and very pleased to be able to announce, that given the large number of requests I have received, the good Adepticon folks have allowed me to bring home all of my the LE Minis they had left from the last 3 years, and release them for sale via Victoria Miniatures this Tuesday 14th April.
That time works out as:
4pm Tues 14th Chicago.
10pm Tues 14th London.
7am Wed 15th Sydney.
Available will be; 40 each of the resin 2014 Arcadian Sgt, The 2015 Tannenburg Colonel and less than 10 of the 2013 metal Beastman Captain.
Cheers, V

Ok, now I think I'm ready to place an order, those greatcoat legs look phenomenal. Two questions:
1) the only covered arms I see are the metal versions. Am I missing resin or plastic covered arms? (other than the Tannenburg?)
2) would the armored torsos and groin plate work with the greatcoat legs, or look a bit strange?
ok, 3) Would the shoulder guards work with the Tannenburg arms, or require the shoulder boards to be removed?
I'm trying to build some stormtrooper types, with the armored torso, maybe gasmask head, shoulder pads, groin plate, and then an appropriate leg set. I'd also like the empty arms to add special weapons. Anyone have any suggestions or models they've built along these lines?

Wow, really liking the look of the greatcoat legs with the Tannenburg fusiliers, something really different about the profile, which I just can't quite put my finger on. Plus those gas masks will be finding their way into my Alpha Legion cultists...

I've been playing with the idea of making another 35 Cultists or Renegade IG for my Alphas, but didn't want to use the GWIG kits (Can't be arsed filing away the aquilas and I've already got an IG army) or the GW Cultist kit (Already got 70 Cultists), nor do I fancy using the FW conversion as I don't feel they give the right feel. The greatcoat legs, trench raider torsos, shoulder pads, gasmask heads and some stubbers, and you've got some awesome Renegades!
Though a question - some of my Victoria mini IG are a bit tallet than GWIG, is this on purpose? And if so, are Victoria IG slightly taller on average? I'd rather not have Renegade militia taller than my Alpha Legion ;p
