Ah, more hints and rumors! Have it your way . Gymnogyps' lips were sealed after GenCon, too.

Is the "not skirmish" part correct or no? That's the point I am most interested in knowing... given my rather large stockpile of models

I can't wait for more stuff to be released. It's so hard keeping all these sweet things secret

Sekai, you're fired.

Ritides, it's going to be using the Starship Trooper/Battlefield Evolution engine as its core with several tweaks.

Are Brushfire models usable in it? If it doesn't swordfight, that'd be "No", right?

Did Britain field red coats in the World Wars?

I guess not... Bummer! Still interested in hearing about it, though. The two sketch concepts are certainly cool.

While this is excellent news, Gimme Ivory Chieftan first. My Zabar plans involve big elephants. =D

But if my WWII guesses are accurate, this should be really cool. When I show off brushfire people usually ask me about the Russian faction. Maybe we'll get one for WWII?

It's spelled "cavalry." NOT "calvary."

Working on it.

It'll be a big sculpt, which makes it very costly to get sculpted and molded and casted; which what the hold up is.

The Gecko Riders are being sculpted now. A month or two at the most.

Then a few weeks after that for production models, less monetary incentives I receive in the meantime.

For a more 'actual' figure, I'm looking at November/December for them. I hope to have a painted one at The Warstore Weekend.

Well... Brushfire is set in 1821 AF. So maby this is a Brushfire set dureing 1942 AF. A Brushfire 1942 if you will.

Sot of like what Warhammer 40k is to WHFB if you will.

1935 AF is looking like a good date.

In Brushfire news, Its looking like near the end of this month we'll have greens for the Gecko Riders, Taijir Serai, the Agamid Vizier, and.. someone Vandalandian to show off.

Scyzantium is definitely getting a lot of much deserved love this quarter.

Edit:

Also, we've donated a nice gift voucher to Dakka's Biggest Contest ever, so much sure to enter.

We've talked about it, but decided against it pretty early on to Brushfire's development.

It'd likely end up being Bucky O'Hare/Space Usagi.

We all know how Mare-Civitas in space would turn out.

Do you have Polish ancestors by chance?
Anyway, you will have a huge market in Poland with these. They love these kind of portrayals of Germans.

What do the Polish have to do with this? I've met the Brushfire folks, and they're not Polish.

Trust me, no matter what damage they have the potential to do, single-shot weapons always flatter to deceive in 40k.                                                                                                       Rule #1
