Well, the Valhallan egiment in the Commissar Cain novels is half female, so female great coats like the "not russians" yo have would mean I could do the co-ed unit for making a commissar cain mini conversion as cain actually prefers a las pistol for accuracy, But his valhallans are coed, and a baldric looking fellow in valhallan(russian) style as well,

Hey guys! I found out about Mad Robot yesterday and got really excited about buying some heads for my new IG project - can anyone tell me how compatible the heads are with Cadian/Catachan torsos? I'm looking to these ones at the moment;

Sounds great

For the most part the sizes are pretty much spot on. A few of the heads are a tad narrow, but you can't really even tell once the whole figure is assembled.

cool, how many parts are there in the kit for Lynn, is she poseable ? will there be additional models like her?

The Lynn figure is 1 part. No plans for anything similar but I am open to ideas.

Um yeah, I announced their release today. They are part of the CDF parts.

will the custom squad builder be updated to include backpacks, equipment packs, and shoulder pads? also, CDF Heads 2 is missing from the custom squad builder.

I really want to get a few CDF guys. I need to wait a bit though. Get through my backlog a bit, first.

These look dead sexy.. I'm happy they're released but sadly the DaNamian RC and another couple of kickstarters all hit at the same time and ate up my gaming budget for quite a while. Can't wait until I can actually afford to add some of these bad boys. Also eagerly awaiting the "big news" ... haven't seen hints anywhere (that I noticed) so I am completely stumped at what it could be.

Exciting.. I'm kinda expecting Sloth from Goonies or the giant from 300 for the head A Stallone head (especially puffy like he was in the most recent Rambo) would look interesting too though.

I'm hoping there are a few variations on the body's "trunk" to keep the individuality up.

The 3rd edition ones IMO were the bestest.. Now.. I'm certain whatever the Mad Robot gives us will be epic in nature

Finally got a chance to build and paint some Colonial Defense Force Troopers as Colonial Marines from Aliens. I did some surgery on the pulse rifle and flamethrower to look more like the movie. I also made the figures taller by adding onto their necks and putting plasti-card between the legs and torso. Added small wire and painted it up to make the grenades on the harness which was tedious. Put them on some scratch built bases and they're ready to fight their way off a derelict ship or a doomed colony. I love the detail and character of these figures and the shipping was super fast. I'm gonna start the smart gunner now, more rifle men and maybe a dude with a shotgun!

Damn. Looking really good. I'll need to get some at some point.

They do look really good. There needs to be a platoon deal on these guys!
