Very nice. Wasn't expecting any of those. I'd been contemplating doing some more modern style guys and those combat vest torsos would work great for them.

We're hard at work here in the Mad Robot Labs! Here's 1 of 2 new guns we're working on for the upcoming Caipari Urban Shocktroops.

Urban socktroops? Heavily armored stormtroopers, perhaps?

The shocktroops are the regiment based on the German Fallschirmjager from WW2.

Although...now that you mention it...I do have a pretty cool concept drawn up for some armored stormies...<sighs>...I need a drug to turn off my brain

I like the short barreled M4 look but on a carbine like that it would be more practical to have a red dot or reflex sight. If the urban shocktroops are using shorter guns due to the close confines of urban settings then they don't need high magnification scopes on them because the range isn't that great. History shows us that sniping is very effective in urban combat so I think a rifle version of the gun with a longer barrel and that scope would be great.

@Prestor Jon: I totally understand & respect your perspective but this particular gun has some nostalgic appeal for me. This is just a case where I prefer to follow the "rule of cool".

As I said, this is 1 of 2 new guns, I will try and present something more practical with the next model.

Their arms to do a 2-handed hold will have to be set so the hands are much closer than most of the troops line. I do like, Carbines, Hmmm, and a heavily armored trooper design you say Steve? Now I wanna see an image of that!

that stock has a kinda FG42 look to it... i guess this is as well then that it is a gun planned fr fallschirmspringer...figures^^
