They will have stocks. I just received the prints today so look for a launch next week, probably Tuesday or Wednesday.

Don't forget girl CDF! seriously...heads/faces and if you want to get fancy shorter bodies. YOu could market those are just shorter CDF figures, cause after watching Aliens this weekend, Dietrich looks just like a male marine with a girl's face. Vasquez is easier to spot because she's way smaller/shorter. (girl versions of all your models would be welcome, not just CDF.) Edit: You would just need to model shorter versions of the regular figures. You don't need to sculpt hips and chest areas etc...with the uniform and armor, a CDF trooper looks the same whether male or female. Thus, you could have shorter male models in addition to normal ones, so if a customer doesn't want girl CDF, he might still want shorter male CDF.

One of the things I love about your range is how compatible it is. I have what, several arm choices to use with the CDF bodies. And your hands aren't as man-handy as GW IG, so again, the arms can be used for girl CDF, though slimmer bare/rolled sleeve arms would also be nice.

That being said, I'd love to see someone do right and left arms in various poses and positions, aiming pistols, shooting from the hip etc, just to make things easier to convert. All makes of space infantry seem to only make 90% of their right arms either holding a rifle for shooting, or pistol flexed in the upright ready position.

I'm currently trying to figure out a way to convert DaNamians into unit Bishops...Since the army I am building has an Inquisitor, his servo skulls might be Bishops! I can't see having a guy in the squad with no gun.

( another idea popped into my my head. You do flight suit legs/CDFlegs for females, then a compatible top either in flight suit, leather jacket, and a female tank top. Right there you can make Ferro, Ripley with jacket, Ripley with tank top, and Vasquez with tank top. You'd need to at least do bare female arms and flight suit/leather jacket arms, but those could probably be the same. Then you do a set of female personality heads...Ripley, Vasquez, girl with crew cut, girl with girly hair pulled back in bun, girl with ponytail).

Oh! Now I remember what I thought would be cool.....DaNamian tank/Vehicle driver heads. Your current ones have a WW2 vibe to them.

Pretty sure the not helghasts are a whole off from even the drawing stage, the thought was just out out there.

Oh there are many images, some even CAD renders for just the game, but would be good to study to make the right "differences" to make the troops look pretty damn good

Assembled my CDFer's today. They look aces! Fantastic kit. I need to throw some greeblies on them...ammo pouches, canteens, pistol holsters.

IN addition to the squad, I used a DaNamian body with some GW arms and a head that had some kind of robotic augmentation on it to make a Synthetic Person figure.

The bad news is....I lost the 5 figures I ordered to make the exosuits out of. Will probably put that off now while I work on the core Marines. Hopefully will have them painted by next week!

I will take pics, but the figures probably won't be pure Mad Robot. While I can get pouches and canteens from you, I want each guy to have a pistol and knife. GW stuff is a bit too large, so I'm looking elsewhere for those parts. I put an IG guard pistol on one guy and the thing was longer than his thigh.

I have some bolt action stuff around, might grab some Dreamforge stuff to see how that matches up. I also have some VicLamb stuff. I could end up going with GW knives which aren't too bad and greenstuffing/molding my own pistols in holsters.


(unless you want to add those in with my helmets with goggles request wink wink).

(oh and besides holstered pistols and knives/bayonets, grenades would be a good addition. All of this stuff would be generic enough so that they would work with all your lines....)
