Just a thought for you Geordie, but if you're struggling to get non imperials in why not have a back up "virus" that makes an imperial force fight for "xxxxx"?

If they were to be fighting for a (for instance) DE storyline, they could be brain washed arena combatants, driven mad by the insanity that is commoragh.

If fighting for an orc based storyline, they might have been tinkered with by the lcoal mad doc or something?

Sorry again that I can't make it man. Running this gig has made me realise how much work you must have put in to your weekend. It's hard man, it'll be damn well worth it though

Thats kind of you nick but its an option that i can't take! I've figured out certain allegiance changes etc that fit fluff of 40k and whilst ive got the end game figured out, its balance in the opening salvo matches that really need us to gain two more players! If you know anybody well enough to get to sign up who may have been put off by size of apoc games or not have a useable force of their own i guess thats an option!

Very impressive Kantor, they look really good. I see an epic encounter on our horizon and the casualty rate will be high!

I'm looking forward to it too, It'll give me a chance to use my Orks! I've chosen Ullanor for that very reason and whilst it does disclude a lot of forces i'm hoping that it will still be well represented! There are a lot of Ork players out there and its not just for the Pre-Heresy Legions... there are options for Imperial Army (Guard) and Mechanicum forces too!

I'm not spending money on a heresy army. I'm holding out for new sob models next year.

Don't you worry Kantor! You can use my Imperial Fists if you want to come! I've got the heresy era stuff in progress and they will be led by Sigismund as well as the chaps who went on to found the Crimson Fists!

There’s a whole lot of love kicking about here now. It’s good to see you a little less stressed, are you starting to see light at the end of the tunnel?

I jumped on board for a few reasons. Firstly it looked like fun. Secondly it was cheaper than the overpriced GW events. Their January doubles event at £92 is ott. Thirdly this is my first tourney and I wanted it to be with a painted army, which I have now got.

I started 40k last year again after 15 years away from it with de. I just couldn't get in to them properly though so I had the chance of a load of marines that needed some tlc. Most of my
Force is second hand repaints.

I probably will be up for the next event. I am interested in running my own based on the new campaign so I am interested to see how it all works.

Na not really! Still got plenty to do!

As for the love in, its important to let you guys, who've bought tickets and contributed to the dakka thread etc, know that i apprecite the faith and support! Without it it would have been an even more difficult task.

I just hope it doesn't disappoint!
